Still no interview notification :whistle:

I did receive my SSN in the mail today though and it only took 5 days (applied Monday 30th), dealing with the SSA is pleasant compared to the DMV-- which is my next stop Monday.

Am sure you will get the interview notification in the next few days. All the best with the DMV. I have had nothing but sore times with them :bonk:

The Journey

Arrived on F1 visa on 25 Dec 2008. Graduated June 2011. Started OPT Sep 2011.

AOS applied March 21, 2012. GC approved June 11, 2012 & received June 18, 2012.

Exactly three months from start to finish,no RFEs.

AOS Timeline:

Day 01,March 21, 2012: Concurrent filing of I-130/AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago Lockbox

Day 02,March 22, 2012: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Day 04,March 24, 2012: USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received through e-mail

Day 07,March 27, 2012: Checks cashed.

Day 13,April 02, 2012 : NOAs received for I-130,I-485,EAD/AP & Biometrics

Day 36,April 25, 2012 : Biometrics Completed at Elizabeth, NJ.

Day 45,May 04, 2012 : E-mail notification for interview received for June 11

Day 46,May 05, 2012 : Received hard copy of interview notice

Day 56,May 16, 2012 : EAD/AP Production e-mail

Day 64,May 24, 2012 : EAD/AP Card in hand

Day 83,June 11,2012 : Interview. Approved same day. Card production email.

Day 84,June 12,2012 : E-mail Notification registering PR status.

Day 87,June 15,2012 : USPS picks up GC from USCIS.

Day 88,June 16,2012 : Received two hard copy mails, approving I-130 & I-485

Day 90,June 18,2012 : 10-year GC in hand. End of GC journey, for now.

We mailed our paperwork on 02/24/2012, and received emails & texts for the acceptance of out I-485, I-765, I-130 on 03/02/2012. We did not file I-131 as we are switching from F1 and my hubby was

Sent 9:36 am

Arrive Delivered 03/16/2012 to Uscis 

2:50pm

4Email/Text notification 03/21/2012

Received 5:45 pm for:

I-485 msc1290515002 "Acceptance"

I-130 msc1290515003 "Initial R"

I-131 msc1290515004 "Initial R"

I-765 msc1290515006 "Initial R"

03/26/2012 NOA received hard copies  for I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765

-03/29/2012 NOA Biometric Letter     

                        received.

04/12/2012 Biometric Scheduled. 

                       8 a.m

-03/30/2012 Biometric early-walk in    

                       finger prints taken.

My question .. It's now MAY 5th, 2012..And I have not heard or saw any changes in the online case status and no change in the last update section... The last updated section shows the date they enter my files into their system.Which is 03/21/2012.... I sense they have not touch my case or lost it ... The anxiety is killing me.. Everyday i look online and check my email.. And still nothing... The first 2 weeks i was so assured everything was going fine from receiving NOA receipt letters and biometrics letter,, but after biometrics everything went stand still... Silence .. ARRR... Please help me.. Understand what's going.. Thanks in advance to all who reply to me.

I have not receive my ead or advance parole neither interview letter

play the waiting game :-)

if you look at previous filers, (im just using the february ones as a proxy) :

- there it took an avg. of ~6 weeks between bio letter arrival and EAD print update. based on your late march bio letter (and hoping USCIS is running at the same pace) you should expect something in 1 week...

(based on recent dicsussion it wasnt clear if early walk in actually made things faster)

21/2 - received NOA in mail for all 4 (130/485/765/131)

23/3 - biometrics scheduled -> did "early" walk-in on 21 March

06/4 - received email update, interview scheduled for 7th May

27/4 - received EAD

08/5 - email: approval one day after interview (7th May)

I agree with mikex I know we are all full of anxiety but it is after all a waiting game and I wouldn't worry If anything were wrong I'm sure you would have received an rfe by now and you haven't so cheer up and stay calm.

filed march

received NOAs 19th march

biometrics 13th apil

interview 13th june 7.30am (texas)

no EAD yet... (says initial review ) but thats ok GC is what we all really need

good luck to everyone and everyone keep us posted on ur interviews!!! :star: :star: :star:

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

May 03rd - notified of interview (06/13/2012)

May 06th - received interview letter in mail

May 11th - received notification of EAD card in production

May 19th - EAD in hand

May 23rd - Applied for SSC

May 29th - Received social security card in mail (card in hand)

June 13th - Interview (approved on the spot)

June 13th - got notification of approval

June 18th - Card in production (also received welcome letter in mail)

June 21st - Green Card in hand

End of this journey....

Has anyone gotten email updates from Uscis on a weekend like Saturday Sunday's?

Yes, my first email notification from USCIS, that they have accepted my application, arrived on a Saturday.

The Journey

Best of luck! Tmrw is 54 day since I mail my package on march 14, 2012.... I hope I hear something tmrw, to put my self at ease.. Ever since I did biometrics .. I have not heard anything

thanks yes so far just "in production" once they mail it im going to be like a little kid at xmas time lol back to checking mailbox 2-3xs a day

You'll have to race me to it... lol... if you walk past my home you'll see me with my nose pressed against the window... lol
