Hey guys! Just wanted to make a comment, it seems like the whole AOS process is pretty fast now. I've heard from other couples in the past that it took them 6 + months for the whole proccess. I'm very glad things have been moving forward pretty quickly!!!!!!

EAD in hand yesterday, May 2nd, 2012!!

Painless journey so far.. Now 2 more weeks till interview..

Between the Feb & March filers it looks like it is averaging around 60 days from filing until the approval of the EAD and then another 8-10 days for production and delivery.

FWIW, mine was approved on the 55th day, so fingers crossed you should be hearing something within the next 10 days or so regarding your EAD.

Guys I have a question regarding the interview. What things should I bring as evidence that my marriage is true? I've already sent them joint bank account letter, a car tittle under both our names, no insurance yet because we were going to get it as soon as I got my GC, since I can't drive anyway. And our tax returns, and 1 utillity bill. Do you guys think that it would be helpful to bring letters that were only sent to me since they have the address as proof? And his too?

Yes, I would certainly bring any official letters that show that you have mail coming to the same address; even if they only have one of your names on.

I would also bring any originals that you sent copies of with your I-130/I-485 package, as well as any more recent evidence that you may have received since you mailed the package off.

Each time I've received any communication it's been on a Friday, my stuff was received 8th March... so would I be reasonable in hoping I'll hear something tomorrow regarding EAD? Interview in 20 days... at this point it's no long an issue, by the time it's in hand I'll be almost on top of the interview date.

Well that put paid to that theory, text received, status up dated... Card in production! yayyyy!
