question when should i prob recieve my EAD?

Anyday now. I filed 2 days after you and even got an RFE just like yours. My EAD was approved in 49 days.

Already have a job interview scheduled for tomorrow and USCIS informed yesterday that my EAD card had been picked up by USPS for delivery. Sigh.

I was debating whether to cancel since I do not have my EAD on person yet. I already talked to the recruiter and I pretty much have the job. The "interview" tomorrow may just be paperwork; The conundrum I'm in. I'm also out of town at the moment but I can make it to the interview. Just do not want to make a trip for nothing.

Dont cancel the appoitment, just go ahead and go and if its paperwork, just tell them you will bring it within the next few days 3-5 days that way you show you are still interested in the job.

By the congrats on finding a job that fast!!

Thanks skull teacher.....will do that. Yeah....I started applying for jobs last week as soon as my EAD was approved.

Exciting news today! I usually put in my receipt number in USCIS each morning to check on any changes.

Today - "On April 24, 2012, we ordered production of your new card..."

Exciting! Now time to get a job. LoL

So when i talked to the USCIS agent on the phone regarding my biometric appt and updated my name to change back to my maiden name he said that they need to approve the change (i guess to check if name is legit) but i shud have a response back by may 1st and im absolutely dying :bonk: !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want nothing more then to be approve (i know i will be) it just sucks sitting on the sidelines waiting for this set back.. and thats IF they didnt send me an RFE.. Ive been constantly checking my case status on their site to see absolutely nothing changed..at all since march 12th..boo... i just want my EAD and GC

I just received another email notification from USCIS regarding production of the card, however it appears identical to the first one that I received on the 20th, except that it now has today's date (25th), it just says that "They have order production of my new card"

Anybody else receive a 2nd card in production notice but with difference dates? I would like to assume that this means it has been shipped, but there is no wording to that affect in the 2nd email and no update to my online case.
