I have not receive the appointment letter but I believe it'll be in Detroit. When is your interview?

I have not gotten to that, yet. I just got my biometrics done... I guess it will take them a while to schedule it. Detroit is so depressing, I wish they would schedule it in GR or Chicago. I wish you best of luck with your interview.

4/04/2012 (Day 13) - Received a letter for biometrics appointment for 4/20/2012.
4/20/2012 (Day 29) - Biometrics done
5/03/2012 (Day 42) - Status online changed to interview, scheduled for June 11
5/16/2012 (Day 55) - EAD Card Production, online status update
5/24/2012 (Day 63) - EAD Card in the mail
6/11/2012 (Day 83) - Interview, approved on the spot

05/19/2014 (Day 0) - Mailed I-751

05/27/2014 (Day 8) - Received NOA1

I bet you will receive an update in your application within a week. I had my biometrics done last week - an update came after a week. Yours might too, I hope.

Update so I went n go my biometrics done but since my paperwork is in my married name I bought my passport and marriage liscense stupid me brought a copy which they wouldn't accept so they said I can either reschedule ( we live 4hr away in a diff state) or get my biometrics done in y maiden name. I chose to do my maiden name however then she said to call uscis and have my paperwork changed to my maiden name. So the following day I did and after a nerve wrecking phone call the agent said he updated the changes but I will receive notice as whether or not uscis approved the changes. I told them they name I want to use the name on my Birth certificate so I'm guessing they have to make sure everything matches they have my birth certificate anyways. They also said I should know by may 1st and will notify me if they need anything else. So I'm looking at least a 2-3 week setback with a possible RFE. :-((((((( oh wells it's no ones fault but my own I guess. I'm still kicking myself I hope everything turns out okay

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys! My interview is going to be at the National resident benefits office and is not at the same location as the fingerprint, they are two different offices they do different things.

It's been over a week since my biometrics and still no update on anything on USCIS website (all dates still same as right before NOA.) Should I be worried? I really need the appointment date because I have to adjust my travel schedule for it.

How did you know it was an interview? How was it stated on the USCIS website?

Because I received an email from the USCIS stating that they have sent me a letter for my interview on May 22. I just received my appointment letter in the mail today :whistle:

It's been over a week since my biometrics and still no update on anything on USCIS website (all dates still same as right before NOA.) Should I be worried? I really need the appointment date because I have to adjust my travel schedule for it.

No need to be worried. Give them one more week, you will be fine.

Judging by the February spread sheet, it appears that most are receiving their cards within 7-10 days :dance:

Hello!

Finally I got my biometrics today ( we called on tuesday), my appointment is for the first week of May... so im more relaxed now :) ... altough in their letter it says they sent the biometrics letter with my NOAS but really I never got it! Anyway, Im very happy that i finally got my biometrics appointment. Does anyone know what happens AFTER BIOMETRICS? Do I get EAD? ...

Hi, congrats on your bio and interview. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you'll get your EAD in time before your interview being that you have been scheduled for interview for first week of May and you are yet to even do your bio. Personally, I'd say for you to just settle for getting your actual green card cause from all indications and if things go well for you guys at the interview which I hope it does, you'll have your green card in no time which will eventually make the EAD pretty much useless.

I wish you luck and if you could share your experience after your interview and timeline, I'm sure a lot of people here will gladly appreciate it. Thank you and God bless!

3/28/2012 (Day 6) - One check for $1,490 cashed & cleared for I-130 and I-485.

4/02/2012 (Day 11) - NOA hard copies received (x3), case status available online & bio appt. also received, dated 04/12 @ 8:00 AM.

4/10/2012 (Day 19) - Case status online says changed to RFE received.

4/12/2012 (Day 21) - Successful biometric done.

5/11/2012 (Day 50) - Complete RFE (I-864) received. Case status online changed to RFE received.

5/16/2012 (Day 55) - Online case status says: Card/ Document Production.

5/21/2012 (Day 60) - Online case status says: Card picked up by USPS.

5/24/2012 (Day 63) - EAD card in hand.

6/12/2012 (Day 82) - Testing and Interview.
