Well, seems like we are second in line. Per USCIS website:

On April 12, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for May 17, 2012,

Only the I-485 status has changed online. NO EAD as of yet.

Hello everyone... I'm just joining the party, hopefully I'm not late . Well, I have my timeline on my profile but I'll go ahead and write it out here.

Timeline (Adjusting from F-1):

3/21/2012 (Day 0) - I-130, I-485 and I-765 sent.

3/23/2012 (Day 1) - Delivered to USCIS.

3/27/2012 (Day 5) - E-Notification that paperwork received.

3/28/2012 (Day 6) - One check for $1,490 cashed & cleared for I-130 and I-485.

4/02/2012 (Day 11) - NOA hard copies received (x3), case status available online & bio appt. also received, dated 04/12 @ 8:00 AM.

4/10/2012 (Day 19) - Case status online says... RFE sent. (Still Waiting).

4/12/2012 (Day 21)- Successful biometric done.

Shouldn't be long before your hardcopy RFE arrives, any ideas what it could be about? Hopefully it is nothing too time consuming.

The USCIS just received my tax-related RFE response a few days ago.

The USCIS just received my tax-related RFE response a few days ago.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. The RFE did arrive but not to me, they mailed it to my attorney. I didn't include the medical from the civil surgeon when the whole packet was mailed out, so they requested for that which my attorney already sent that to them and they received it yesterday. Also they requested for the most recent tax documents from my wife which would be for the year 2011. But being that we want to file "Married Filling Jointly" and that will require me to have either an SSN or an ITIN # which I don't have none right now, we couldn't file electronically yesterday with H&R Block, but somehow they referred us to their regional branch where they have a tax accountant than can sign off the W-7 form for me tomorrow and then process it. After which I will then send out all the tax documents that is needed no later than Tuesday.

P.S: My case status online now says (Request for Evidence Response Review). *On April 12, 2012, we received your response to our request for evidence.

We did include that. Guess they need 2011 too which we'll send to them Tuesday at most.

Interesting...there seems to be mixed reports of that...technically the 2010 should have been alright for applications up until Monday.

That is strange, not sure they mean 2011 when they say "most recent tax returns". Not only are you not required by law to have filed those taxes just yet, millions file extensions until July.

Well since we filed by the time we sent my packaged I sent the 2011 tax returns (husband) and so far I didn't get any RFE notice and I hope I dnt I guess it just depends weather u filed by the time ur package is sent now you would be required to send the 2011 though

I wasn't arguing I was saying the same thing and saying it then based on several cases that have not been required the 2011 report. I read on here a LoT and this is the first time I have seen someone say they were asked for 2011...and even is this case that may not have been the basis of the RFe...there may have been something missing or not rig with the 2010 copy or they simply misplaced it which has happened.
