March 2012 AOS filers

We met with the realtor today and going to visit 7 houses tomorrow.

Hopefully by the end of tomorrow we will have the realtor send our offer in.

There are not lots of inventories now since everybody is buying houses!

No kidding, we've been trying for a couple months now. We've probably sent in at least 12 offers, for way over the asking price, but cash buyers are scooping everything up. It's depressing.

Ok...

This is what u need to do while being a permanent resident and you change of adress.

Permanent Resident send this online:

https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.Terms

And... the american citizen(wife or husband) who signed the affidavit support (I 864) has to send a form via mail notifying the change of adress too. DON'T FORGET THIS PART OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES WHEN YOU DO YOUR ROC PROCESS.

we moved before the interview, and we informed the IO, and I recieved my GC to the new address, do you think I should still send the form ?

On August 1, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

I do not remember if this online system will say USPS picked up GC or not after this message, but I should get my GC soon... I hope anyway.

Yes your next email later tonight or tmrw should say USPS PICK UP YOUR NEW CARD FOR DELIVERY..

And if you want to track the mail online on the USPS SITE, until it's delivered to you,, simply do what I did.. Call Uscis and speak to a rep and request the tracking number and they will provide you with it..

I filed March 23rd. Got Biometrics and my Employment card pretty quick. Have not heard a thing on my AOS. Glad atleast some people have gotten theirs already. Grats Im in North Dakota.

Your process is different because you're adjusting from a K1 visa. Your case is probably at the CSC. I would suggest following this thread

It's been two days since USCIS sent GC; however the website has not been changed to USPS picked up...

The spelling correct, not wrong expiration date. I am sooooo happy and relieved.

GC is really green which I did not expect, and it is so cool.

Me too I got it whoooohooooooooo ... although am still confused whether I am a conditional resident or not and if I have to file ROC or not in 2 years? My GC is for 2 yrs not 10.
