Interview tomorrow, I am soooo stressed .. bouncing off walls, cannot concentrate on studying.... omg, omg, omg

Calm down, the interview is about 20 mins or less. Show no sign of nervous !!! Be calm .. Make sure you both are synchronized .. Hold hands while sitting .. Call each other hun babe or darling... Answer questions as your ask!!! Don't try to explain.. Ex: when did you meet...??? Just give the date... Let the IO ask where .. ? Then answer where , let them ask how? Then you answer how.... If you just start blurring everything out it will sound like you memorized how to answer questions... Basic questions you will be asked to answer.. Like Ex.. Where was your wife/husband place of birth country of birth ~~~ date of births ... If live together ... How long.. When moved in ... Any of you have kinds.. And any proof of co mingling ... Like any bills ... If your utility is included in your lease just mention it to the IO officer. BUTT::: every IO is differ... That's all they ask me and my wife ... But rest assure you'll be okay ... Even thou I knOw you won't sleep tonight.. Cuz I didn't...

Ha ha, no need to overdo things, if that is not your style. Be natural, be relaxed, the IO will understand from your body language how much you are 'into' each other. I have read on this board somewhere that unnatural behavior like getting too cosy with each other during an interview may actually set off red flags. Be yourself!

Interview in NYC

Appointment for 11:15, got there are 11, was called in at 11:05

Left :11:20

IO was very professional and pleasant, cracked only 2 small smiles the entire time.

She swore us in, then asked for all originals. Passports, Birth certificates, SSN, EAD. She took the I-94 out of my passport and wrote in it that my AOS is pending. Turned to my husband and asked him my name, b-day, when we met, when we moved to the current address, where I lived before this address.

Asked me when I entered the US, if I left the US since.

Asked my husband if he met my parents, what are their first names, if I met his parents. Then asked me what my husbands full name, b-day, place of birth and parents' first names are.

Then she went through the Yes/No questions in the I-485.

Asked if we have any additional proof we want to submit. Refused pictures because I had already submitted some, and stopped me after a few documents saying that that was more than enough :)

She DID NOT take my EAD card, made us sign a document that we were there and that it'll take up to 60 days to receive any news from them, asked us if we have any questions and escorted us out. Total time 10-15 minutes.

I am concerned because she did not take my EAD ?!??!! what to make of that? I thought they usually keep it! :(((((((((((( Hope it we get approved....sigh

It varies from office to office....some people got to retain their EADs. If you thought the interview went well, it probably did. Keep checking your status online, you should probably get the good news by the end of today or by tomorrow, at the most. All the best! Keep us posted.

Yes definitley keep checking status, if you sign up for e-notification you will also received an email when the online status is updated... That's just like my case.. Didn't get an answer and we were escorted out.. And by end of afternoon I got emails updates that they order card production.. Be calm and patient
