Don't get scared. Newark is a real good place to interview at and they are prompt and courteous. You will be just fine. Just make sure you have all your documents in place and there is nothing to worry about.

As I said, Newark is a cool place to be interviewed. Good luck and keep us posted. If you need any more info about the Newark office, just ask me and I will try to answer as best as I can. :thumbs:

Hey Everyone

I had an successful GC Interview held at Federal Plaza in New York City on 6/20/2012

The Interview itself it wasn't that pleasant at all. Immigration Office wasn't American Born , He Had a rough accent, difficult to understand , but after an 30 min of struggle he said "you are approved".

Anyway its been almost 6 days and no update on USCIS site at all , but hey who cares I'm legal alien now

There have been a lot of posting on this subject and it seems some do get the stamp and some do not. Apparently, leaving the interview without a stamp is becoming the norm; so that shouldn't be a worry.

I did not get a stamp either, apparently most people do not. Your GC itself should be coming in about a week or so, so the stamp is not necessary.

I have a question regarding our Interview next month. I served in the army in my home country. Should I provide some documents regarding this service in the Interview? Would they even bother to ask for any ?

We are here waiting and I think uscis newark is running behind bc it's been nearly an hour and 20 minutes and we haven't been called yet! Feeling nervous but bored and starving!! Not to mention I didn't sleep nothing but 2 hours so ugh! I'm so ready to leave her already!!!
