Hi

I am a UK citizen and plan to marry my USC fiance. We would like to file for I-130 and am reading ahead.

We would be filing in the US and I have read that the NVC sends the petitioner the I-864 and requests the payment for this and the petitioner sends the I-864 back to the NVC with supporting documents before the case is sent to the embassy in London.

Is this true because I always thought that it was the foreign spouse that is expected to take all of this information to their interview?

Also if we have a joint sponsor, when would we have to submit their forms and evidence?

Thankyou

I see, so the majority of stuff at the interview will have already been seen! And does the USC send it all even the DS-230 or the foreign born spouse?

Foreign born spouse because he/she would need to sign DS-230, all original doc like birth-certificate, pcc, marriage certificate, etc etc.
