she wants a dna test for my son to prove that i willl take care of him{ i thought thats the reason for affidavit of support}

she wants wedding plans with dates guests, we are doing a court wedding.

questions asked

when did you meet?2009

how did you meet ?thru a friend at a party

when did he divorce? 2011

why are you not getting married in kenya, answer his siblings are abroad.

who is the father ? he is

why is he not on the birth cert? she was unsure of the father.

are you sure now? yes,

who is it ? him

we need dna test from you. whhoooow another 1200$, and more photos and evidence of marriage plans

child born abroad in my case will not give my son citizenship as he was born after i got my citizenship so he would not qualify.

thinking of flying there and just getting married and start the process all over.

Sorry to hear of your dilemma, however your experience is very normal at the Nairobi embassy! I would recommend just completing the process per the requirements. If you decide to close the current case and open a new one as married, they will still request the same thing (DNA test) as they did for the K-1 plus scrutinize you more severely for discontinuing the current petition. You should get all the requested items as soon as possible and return to the embassy....

It sounds like you were put in AP and not denied.

Just finish up the process. This will be faster than restarting and they will require the same info as rodceasar said. The DNA test is standard for couples that have children and it is not for proof that you will take care of them but rather that you are indeed the parent.

Stay strong and focused. God will see you through every step even when you think your strength is gone. My husband and I just finished the DNA a couple months ago the girls had their interview today and now they say the medical we completed a couple months back is expired so they need a new one but I see the light at the end and it is the most beautiful light with two lovely little faces calling me mommy.

But when we started the entire process even for my husband we sent in wedding gown receipts, copy of engagement from newspaper. Send more evidence than what they even ask for it cannot hurt. Good Luck and God bless.
