Im stumped on how to answer question 29 and 30. I have travelled many many times to the US. Living in Canada we do not need to be issued a specific visa however we are technically entering in on a vacationer visa are we not?

Im not sure how to answer question 30 ( have you ever been issued a US Visa ) Should I put no? or yes with an explanation as to Canadians don't require a visa to enter?

29 Have I ever been to the US - What if I have been multiple times? How would a Canadian that frequents the US a lot answer this!

Please help

Thanks!

We had the same problem for the DS-260/DS-230 (which MTL still requires).

We wrote on the form that the dates were various and then added a covering letter saying that my wife had travelled down from Vancouver approximately every 2 weeks for the 2 years that we were dating. I was able to provide specific detail before that because it was only the occasional trip.

It didn't even come up at interview in Montreal.

Good luck.

Hello: I am no expert, but here's how I answered. I am also Canadian and have been travelling to USA multiple times for as long as I can remember. I focused on details for the past few years. Specific dates for motorcycle trip in 2010 and states visited. Specific dates for Seattle shopping trip (yeah - shopping :) ). Specific dates for a trip to Disneyland. etc etc I listed about 8, I think. I then stated that due to my "proximity" to the USA there have been many weekend / shopping trips that I do not have specific dates or receipts for (they may have record of) .... I am hoping for the best, but seriously I don't have every trip recorded. Maybe, more experienced folks can chime in ??? Hope this helps.

Ooops, forgot to mention ... there was not enough lines. I said "see schedule a" and attached a separate sheet of paper.

:)
