Hello,

After our paperwork was *completed* at NVC, I called NVC and requested an expedite.

We were approved, and the paperwork was immediately sent to the embassy. According to DHL, the paperwork arrived this morning. My wife has already completed the medical screening at St Luke's (although they were surprised that she showed up without an interview letter).

What should we do now? Is our case automatically expedited at the embassy? Should we be calling? My wife is having a very difficult time getting through at (632) 301-2000 x5184 or x5185.

Thank you for all your help!

Ah! She got through to (02) 982-5555 and successfully scheduled an interview for March 21st! :) :) :)

If she is approved, how long will it take for her to have a visa in hand?

If her Visa Application is approved. It can take on average from 5-10 business days from being approved and visa printed. Keep in mind Consulate Officer can review all documents even if they tell the applicant they are approved. This can add additional time to delivery.

Make sure she has all required documents, documents are all signed and dated, All original required documents are in her package, All required IDs etc.. Also make sure you have all supporting documents for Affidavit of support (W-2s and 1040 filings).

Good Luck and God Bless!!
