I think when you'll receive packet 3 which is just a paper from embassy , they will mention on it what do you need exactly no ?

Hey thanks for the link, I read that a few times too, but apparently it varies from person to person

I'm not sure if its because different embassies require different documentations.

But between getting NOA2 (ie what to do after getting that) receiving packet 3 and sending stuff back to your local embassy.

It seems pretty murky too me. Even my over paid lawyer cannot tell me exactly what forms i need to send back to embassy. So far I only know the confirmed forms I need to send back (after I receive packet 3) is the DS 156/DS156k/maybe the 230 part 1.

Charlene , look at this link : http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Singapore&cty=Singapore

So my fiancé must provide :

-a statement from the bank with deposits and the details like : date account opened and deposits for last and present year

-copy of last income tax return ( self employed)

That's all ?

This is what my fiancé sent to me as well (he is also self employed). It is different when you are employed.

To prepare everything for pack 3, you will also want him to send you a copy of the NOA2, and a renewed letter of intent (same text as the first one, but with a newer date, signed by him).

As for what to send, like others have said before, it depends on the embassy. The pack 3 letter for us simply stated that we have to go to the embassy website straight to step three and follow the instructions there. For Germany, they have updated the process in May. Now we have to send in everything with pack 3. And I also included the form that sometimes is only required to be filled in by men. Just to be on the safe side.

I will have my interview in two weeks, and I am feeling good because they already have everything there. This way, I cannot forget anything at home when I'm making my trip to Frankfurt :hehe:

Good luck, everybody! It's doable :)

Today is officially 1 year since I've seen/hugged/kissed my fiancé. Dear USCIS please stop breaking my heart. When I applied your timeline made it seem like we might be able to be together again by this time.
