I'm crying..... When will I have my nod2... They got my info on the 7th of ma

I feel you. I haven't seen my fiance since January 8th (aside from Skype). I am the last one to say "hang in there" because I have good and bad days (mostly dictated by what date they are processing or not processing).

I can't really offer too much advice. But in my experience I have used this time away to be constructive. Try joining a gym or working out at home, learn an instrument, take a class. Better yourself in some way. It will pass the time and the end result may be a nice surprise for your loved one when you see them.

The waiting sucks. Chase the days away doing something positive.

I know how that feels. I didn't get video calls until this month...11 months after leaving Zambia. It's hard. But I look at it like this: this wait is hard, but we are near the end. We are no longer just starting the process. Even if we have another month of waiting, at least it's not 6 more months. We are near the finish line. It's been a hard 11.5 months apart from my love, but I know I have so very little time left to wait. Keep breathing, it's almost over.

I called, and was told they are working on Feb 6. I've also written my congressman, for all the good it will do, I might call each day during my lunch break... Make a habit of it haha

Yes, he told me the same thing: it's not past the normal processing time. I told him their site said 5 months, and he gave me some generic answer. I could tell he was reading off of a card. If I had called in a foul mood, I probably would have given him a piece of my mind and asked for a tier 2, requested a service request, and gotten nowhere all the same.

He did read exactly the same thing that the uscis website gives you. I already know it by heart haha :) He said something about service request but in our case we can do it after the the Sep 1.
