just found 2 more approvals for march 12: one from the 17th and one from yesterday. also one RFE from yesterday.

there's a batch with lots of action going on: it consists of 26 petitions (numbers from ********09 to ********34) and so far there's been 3 RFEs (July 10, July 18, August 20) and 2 approvals (august 2nd and 6th). Seems like they've definitely started working on march now, even though it's still slow.

I'm a huge planner. There is always a plan in my head. I saw their timeline of 5 months and planned for it. So we set a tentative wedding date (though in my planners mind that was the only date that would do). However, looking at their progress in Vermont... I'm having a hard time not being able to have a plan in my head. It's been 11 months since I've seen my fiancé in person. For his birthday I bought him an iPod because it has FaceTime so for the first time this month, after 11 long months... I got to see his face. :D Makes the distance so much easier when you can see each others smile. This will all be over before we know it. But we are living in it now... We aren't over the hump yet... So its all still lame.

Me too! I am such a planner, and it is absolutely untolerable for me not to be in control of my own life. We haven't seen each other in more than eight months, and it is hard on us, but I agree with you - seeing each other's face (we do Skype several times a week) makes it a little more bearable.

As for the wedding date - Luckily the venue we want to use for our wedding is for free, so we just booked five different wedding dates (two for February, two for March, and one for May). Vermont Service Center is driving us crazy! :wacko:

True. I think the bad part of this is we see the VJ projection, and that is still 3 weeks away. Plus, it keeps getting pushed out farther and farther. You can't reach a goal if the finish line keeps getting pulled away from you. Haha

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

yeah,, that's what i am hoping for, since it seems like most of the 155 march 12 petitions i am monitoring are getting RFEs right now.... i thought maybe those are the ones with obvious RFEs, like something missing, that are easy to detect - because they are spread all over the numbers i am monitoring. maybe this is the first look through, where they are trying to find something obvious and then they look at all the petitions more closely in a second round....

funny how this process makes you keep coming up with all kinds of theories on how uscis works..... ;)
