I am working on a spreadsheet for March 26, 27, 28, 29 and so on until my NOA1 date of Apr 5. I have not finished running the numbers but I went on and started a spreadsheet because I can barely read my own writing. Once I have that done I will try to run the numbers again and see if there are any updates. In the meantime you can go to the USCIS website and play around with your case number. Just go up and down from your number and you can see many other petitions filed at VSC.

For Mar 26 there were about 206 i-129f applications filed

Mar 27 had 96 apps filed

Mar 28 had 56 apps filed

Mar 29 had 69 apps filed

Mar 30 had 116 apps filed

These numbers might be off by 3-4 apps that i might have missed. I will try to update when I have time to run numbers again and finish spreadsheets through Apr 5.

Add 30 on there for me haha

Thats awesome!!! Last week, when we called, we got still told Jan 16. Did they say what date exactly They were working on? Could be helpful for those of us who want to try and put in a service request..

The bots that they have answering the phones just got the new print out this morning probably. They were using the same jan 16 script for a while!

I played with my USCIS receipt number and several numbers before and after mine with march 9th i129f applications are either still in review or have RFE notices attached to them. Hopefully that means I've escaped the RFE nightmare. Further it shows that March files are being looked at because I did the same thing last month and all of us were still listed as initial review. My frustration from earlier has disappated... But VCS has gotten my hopes up before with the whole 5 month timeline.

Some of the March 9th are RFE? Mine still shows Initial Review. So I wonder why/how they are skipping around so much? Shouldn't it be first come/first serve? Crazy.

My thoughts on that are it's all on what agent has the paperwork. So some might e farther ahead than others. March is on the table but some agents might still have Feb on their desk. Or it's like an assembly line.... Some one just goes through and sees if information is missing in the files and sends out RFEs as needed and passing completed files onward. But that seems too much like a well oiled machine. My guess is the first thought is how they roll.

Both make sense... I'm with you, the first option is probably how it works.

Don't let the Initial Review discourage you. Many files show Initial Review after their approval and beyond. They don't seem to worry too much about updating the status - its nice if it does reflect what's really going on, but it isn't at all reliable. There doesn't seem to be much to rely on lately, except that you will get there... :yes:(F)

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

I have decided not to check Igor's List for CSC anymore. It just makes me frustrated. Yesterday I was on another (German) immigration forum and saw someone exclaim happily how they got their NOA2 within three months at CSC; it kind of ruined my whole day. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for those at CSC, but I feel very discouraged and treated unfairly by USCIS.

We're starting to get our paperwork together to get the congressman involved if we haven't heard anything by the beginning of September.
