This process can be quick as it can be slow, it's very unpredictable. I really hope that they will shift more adjudicators back to I-129F, so it won't get behind other applications or other service center, I don't know what I am talking, I could be wrong, just my own thought!!

Today I saw someone with NOA1 March-06 got approved, but when I clicked to see their timeline it shows they sent their petition in Feb-01, so I doubt their NOA1 is Feb-06 and not March-06, could it be that they unknowingly edited the wrong date of their NOA1, if this true then their timeline gives us false hope.

08-02-2013 - update from USCIS (it may take another 6 months from now due to delays!)

This morning, VSC has jumped up to 179!!!

just tried to put in a service request, but as expected: nothing. she said the "system" didnt let her do it..... (yeah right - as if she didnt know that before... ;) ). also: of course theyre still working on january 16th.... well... we didnt expect anything else, so... fine...

she told us to call back at the end of august and maybe we might be able to put in a service request then.... (dont think so - how are they supposed to get to the middle of march within only like 2 weeks when it took them about 2 months to get from jan 9th to jan 16th....

Amen to that! I often think about how those people that are "out of the loop" must feel. I'm so glad to have the VJ community to read everyday! Even while waiting for NOA2 approval I am constantly learning more and becoming better prepared for future parts of the process.

After reading VJ every day i feel like I have an "inside scoop" of whats going on. I talked to a paralegal working with an immigration lawyer firm recently. She has no idea VSC is delayed while CSC is ahead. None of those "details" we can see here. I felt like i knew more that her :rofl:

I got so excited when I saw a March filer from VSC was approved but, like you...I think they mistakenly set their noa1 as March 6th...You are probably right thinking its February 6...

...its getting depressing seeing late May filers from CSC getting NOA2 already...or Igor's processing dates showing CSC almost 2 full months ahead, I'm trying to stay positive but worried we still have another 40+ days of waiting ahead...
