I'm counting down the days until my next visit to the States, only 10 days to go and I get to spend 8 days with my man I can't wait! I think that is what is stopping me from going too crazy with the waiting. I get back at the beginning of September and really hope to hear something by the end of September. Fingers crossed. I am so excited today to see the first March filer approved, that is a milestone for us March filers. Even though my NOA1 is the end of March it has given me hope that at long last they will get to our applications soon.

They got their $340 anyway... so no need to hurry! The worst thing is that they don't care about your love and that you miss one another. Unfortunately all they care about are documents and forms filled out correctly :(

I can understand them wanting everything done correctly; that needs to be done right. But to let them sit there obviously for two months and have no explanation for those who are waiting longer than others... especially with CSC shaming them...that is inexcusable. :bonk: If they are behind, just say so. Telling us they are working on Jan 15th when clearly we can see it's a lie is just dumb.

That's the funniest part. I see you know the story about Jan 16th as well :) My fiance called them a month ago and they told him they were working on Janu 16th, yesterday they told him the same! Igor's list says something else, doesn't it?!

Well let's just wait. As someone here said the first approved case is a milestone for us :)

Wow, 4-5 months without seeing each other is a long time. I am going crazy and ive flown her to Mexico 2X already during this wait after NOA1 and now is been one month since last time we saw each other and im ready to leave again.

In my benefit, i used up my vacation in my previous job and then suddenly i got an offer for this new job and i said, i have a couple weeks of vacation planned already, is it a problem? (I didnt really have anything planned but i knew that i wanted to see her soon again.) So basically they said no and now, my boss is expecting me to take a week off already next month. Vacation paid and all :D

Ive been very fortunate as ive been able to see her every 10 wks

Timeline

I called on Monday and wound up getting a call center rep from Latin America. She took down all of my information (as if none of it is on the application), and I had to repeat my street address to her slowly 5 times. It's a common name of a tree!! Anyways, she told me that I should hear back in 15 days.

Then, Tuesday morning, I received an email just verifying that I called. The email says I should hear something within 30 days. (okayface.jpg)

I thank you for your encouagement. I wonder if it helps to have the packet really organized when you turn it in? Mine was over organized with tabs and dividers, etc. haha

My boss went through all of this a year and a half ago. I asked him about everything before I started mine, and he said he had his super organized with tabs and dividers. Plus he went through a lawyer. He also said that their whole process took 8 months until his wife (fiancée) entered USA.

I often wonder if the specific country makes a difference. Does this part of the process rely on the government from there and their speediness? If so, I'm probably in for a long wait. Georgia is like Mexico. They'll get around to it when they feel up to it. Ha!

Today I saw someone with NOA1 March-06 got approved, but when I clicked to see their timeline it shows they sent their petition in Feb-01, so I doubt their NOA1 is Feb-06 and not March-06, could it be that they unknowingly edited the wrong date of their NOA1, if this true then their timeline gives us false hope.
