You still haven't gotten your NOA2??? What on earth is taking them so long? This is just wrong... I feel so so sorry for you! :( I am thinking of you guys who are still stuck in the midst of this crazy process.

You did contact your Senator and Congressman though, right?

Thanks for the concern.

Yes I have talked to Cornyn's office, Granger's office and Cruz's office...They ask, they get a response similar to... the file is in an officer's hands, the application will be processed in the order it is in, if we don't hear anything in 60 days, call again... then the congress person tells me the same thing...

They are ALL friggin' useless.

There is not much I can say except for I'm feeling with you. We all know the system is unfair, but as Tigerflower said, we all here are hoping that your two will be together soon!

HK12, this is way off topic, but are you all right after the Tornado??

Yeah, we're fine here. Moore is about 20 miles away. We did have a tornado about 2 miles from here (on the other side of town) on Sunday, but it was only an F1, and nothing happened except for that some windows of our newly built hospital broke and some little trees got ripped out.

Hey everyone I'm just checking in as I'm heading home from Brazil spending some much needed time with my fiance.it is funny I just got a case update on Friday saying that my file has finally been shipped to nvc after 3 months of waiting. Now let's see how long it takes to actually get there.

Thanks to all who are concerned. Fortunately we are still very much for being together despite our wonderful government's lack of effectiveness.

Glad to hear that RES...

Got some news myself... Congressman Cruz's office told me that my file "is in the hands of the adjudicator".... if I don't hear something in 30 - 60 days, give them a call again...

I absolutely laughed at the person from the office.. .The person went on to tell me that we are "so very close" to being finalized, she didn't see what was funny. I told her that I've heard that exact line before and waited two months only to get another RFE..which we've waited an additional two and a half months to get an answer on.. .She said that shouldn't happen this time... Either she's a liar or she drank the kool aid....
