I got my green card in the mail last Thursday (it took one week after the interview!) and am very happy that this journey will be at a rest for a little bit now. I am thankful I found this forum, it was of trememndous help.

Rong and David, we also moved in January, but everything went accordingly and was sent to the new address. There was a small delay, but no problems. My hubs sent in one form (AR-11) by paper mail and I requested the address change on the uscis website. We also put the address change request in with the post and it worked like a charm. I hope your stuff gets sorted out soon!

I wish you all the best of luck and happy lives! See you for ROC preparations in two years :hehe:

Hey everyone i tried asking this in another forum but i just want to make sure i have this right, i have been looking in other forums but have not had much luck.

1) NVC will receive file and issue case number then forward to embassy which can take upwards of a month

2) All the financial paperwork such as pay stubs, W-2s and affidavit get sent to embassy or fiance after case number is given??

If im missing anything please let me know, I know Brazil has an expedited interview process and they are issuing interviews in a couple of days after receiving the file so i want to make sure everything is good. I waited so long i forgot about some of this lol.

NVC will forward... Faster I believe than that. Embassy depends on country sorry.

I have not seen rong online in a while, rong must be breaking out all the stops to get his noa2. On another note I have been waiting almost a month now for nvc to receive my petition and I have already contacted both ends with no resolve. Here is to another wait of this endless process.

I have been approved as of March 29 but my file is taking a rediculous amount of time to get to the NVC. I called last Thursday and they said it was shipped on April 29 and still nothing. The good news is that i am going to see my fiance on Thursday which will be a year and a half reunion. I cant believe we have gone so long apart from each other but all those long waits should be over here shortly.

Why on earth is it taking so long for NVC now?

It seems like since all the daca files were transferred and CSC has picked up with approvals that nvc is now overloaded with an abundance of approved petitions.
