Hey March filers. Anyone still around? I haven't been on in a while and wanted to check in to see how everyone was doing. Nick and I are still waiting to hear anything from the Embassy in London. Everyone said this process goes so fast after approval but I'm not seeing it. Looks like most of you are together now and a few are even already married so congrats to you guys. I'm happy for you all, though envious! Heh. Is Andie, Res, and Rong still waiting for their NOA2? Hopefully, not! I'd love to know what step everyone is at now.

As a side note, does anyone know what number to call to check on your visa once it's gone to the embassy (ours is in London)? I have two numbers but they are so expensive and Nick has already called them twice which is like $40!!! How can they charge so much for a two minute phone call?!?! I heard someone say you could call the state department? Anyone have a number for that? Anyone phone numbers that anyone could share I would be happy to have.

I've just been to Canada to meet him there since I can't get a visa for the US (insufficient ties.. no longer have a job etc... been sitting here waiting for more than 2 yrs in anticipation and unable to commit to long term employment, I also write, but no employer as such). Between us all sorts of hitches and because of the snow storms in the east he was delayed which meant we didn't have much time together, but after all our time apart anything was better than nothing. Still waiting for something from USCIS... still no case number.. nothing. What is wrong with these people ?????????????????????

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

soooo sorry for everyone still waiting!!!! can't believe some of you still haven't heard anything!!!!

have you ever thought about changing your plans and moving to the other country, or maybe a whole different country where it is easier for both of you to immigrate?

i know our plan b would have been to move to germany and plan c somewhere else in europe... so maybe a change of plans is worth looking into for some of you guys?

Im here still waiting as well. Sorry i have not been on for a while but the situation that arose with my fiance has been difficult but it is slowly improving with time. I have been told that i should have my approval by the end of the month but i will believe it when i see it.

Only a couple more days until the end of the month and I know that I wont get my NOA2 by then which is sad because in two weeks I have officially hit one year of waiting for it. how insane is that......
