we got our NOA2 in the mail yesterday! i was totally expecting an RFE so it was such a huge relief.

it was a double shock because i've been checking the uscis website obsessively... when i looked yesterday morning it still said "initial review". so i have been expecting to be the one to give HIM the good news. either way, we are so incredibly happy and relieved :D

no email and no text from uscis either.

hang in there, everyone still waiting. it's a-comin'!

I will soon be like you... My love returns to England next Tuesday. No one else understands the agony of separation. Friends say, "It will be here soon." but they just don't get it. There is nothing like being able to hold the one you live close. Being separated by thousands of miles is pure misery. Please, VSC..... Please catch up!!!!

Oops my phone spell checked... The one you love lol!

i understand very well that feeling...

I try very hard to be brave at the airport. Try to tell myself that "soon" he'll be back home for good. But it doesn't fool my heart. I end up weeping like a fool saying goodbye.

Holding tears is sooo difficult! You promise yourself you're not gonna cry this time and you end up weeping as you said.

It's so true! It hits you in waves. I don't know how other people can hold it in. So hard to watch that person walk away through the airport gate. (L)
