Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Well... no Christmas with my love I guess... Why is it taking so long?

Everything will be fine! Do you have everything together, so you can send off the forms as soon as you have the Packet 3? And do you have the documents ready for the interview? We lost three weeks because USPS supposedly lost my fiancé's Affidavit of Support docs, so he had to re-send everything via DHL Express. So yeah, have everything ready, and you shall be approved soon! :)

She was there for 3 hours but the actual interview only lasted 5 minutes. 1 question on how we met and when was the last time we saw each other and we got approved. They did ask her in English and she answered well.

Rong & David... What have you done lately on your case? Have you called Uscis? Have you hounded them? Are you contacting your Senator?

Hi Islandgal, yes I've called a number of times... They only tell me that I'm "inside the 2 month window for response to an RFE" ... nothing more.... I have till Dec 19 before I can call in the dogs....

Last week I went for an infopass meeting in Irving.... she literally looked dumbfounded that I was there.... She told me the same thing that everyone else has told me... and that I need to be patient and that it can take up to a year... grrrrrrr...:bonk: :bonk: :bonk:
