Even if you send it trough regular mail, recommended, it will come to Croatia for example, in 10 days max. Macedonia should be in the same time frame. Thanks for the info on USPS, we will consider that too.

Sent everything USPS. It cost $68. They said 5-8 days but I hope it isn't much longer. Makes me VERY NERVOUS!!! His interview is on the 15th so I hope nothing goes wrong. They told me they could do guaranteed overnight for $190.00! I think I could find someone flying to Skopje and pay them 1/2 that to deliver. :)

Good news is MEDICAL PASSED TODAY!!! Next up....Interview!

Hi, everyone! I haven't been here for a while ... Things have been going well for me and my fiancé. My POE was Chicago on Oct 16th and everything went really smooth  I had a beginning cold on my trip and it got worse during my first week, but it's over now and life is good. So far it's been easier to live here than I thought. Lots of things are different and I still haven't found the perfect bread, noticed that the US doesn't know Pflaumenmus and am very cautious when I go food shopping, but somehow that is fun.

We are going to get married by the end of November, I'm starting to get excited :D I also got my social security number - k1 people can get it before they are married! In the office, they first told me I am not eligible, but then I got it. And, I have read that I probably won't have to take a theoretical and practical driving exam because my German driver's license is proof that I am experienced in driving

It was good to have a break from all the paper work for a while, but I know I will spend more time on here once the wedding is behind us.

I hope everyone is hanging in and doing well here!

Small piece of news..

The Field Office left a message today saying we should have received our Case number by now.

They are chasing it for us.
