Tigerflower, couldn agree with you more. I was talking to my love the other night exactly about little things that long distance couple appreciate more then if you are together everyday. just being able to see him while I talk to him is going to be amazing, lol :) Our case is sent to the embassy yesterday. Should be here in seven days.

or actually just being able to reach over and touch him! cuddle while falling asleep, look at the same cool things at the same time (not by sending the other one a photo of something you saw!).

i honestly think that those long distance relationships that make it to the point where they can finally be together are a LOT stronger than regular ones!

also, who sits down, in a regular relationship and just talks without doing anything else, for hours straight, even after years of dating? i think we know each other better!

and because of all the appreciation of little things, i think we will fight a lot less, just because i think stupid things like "please put your socks in the hamper and not on the floor" (not that that's an issue, but that was the first thing that came to my mind ;) ) are not worth fighting and ruining the time you can actually spend together!

and now i am crying, because it will all be so awesome and i can't wait to have that!!! (and, like i said, i am very tense, since i am leaving in only 9 days and i start crying over little things, like, every 5 minutes.. haha...)

I'm not at that point. I think it depends on the consulate.

I just read a post from one of our member about needing the form I 864 for the affidavit of support. So, the members who are already past interviews state, which one did u file? I 864 or I 134? Im a bit confused now.

We had the I-134 with a copy of last year's 1040 form, my last 4 pay stubs, and a letter from my employer listing my position, salary, and tenure with the company. Additionally, I had a letter from my bank listing how long my accounts had been open and what the current balances are, and what their average monthly balances are. The webpage for the embassy in London says that we did not need the I-864 until filing the AoS.

Exactly! Very odd! I read this same thing that just happened to someone else in another thread regarding London. Even though you are not supposed to, they are demanding the I-864? Wonder if I should send one to my fiancé just on case?

I think it probably depends on what kind of financial situation you have, and what kind of evidence you are presenting. Like I said, I did not have the 864 and there was no issue.

Well, in our case we are doing the i-134, with a copy of my complete 2011 taxes, schedules and all. With a copy of my w-2 and a current employment letter. Bank statement and pay stub.

-----

Turns out that after NOA2 the whole process is going by very smooth. It took 10 days from NOA2 to the day it left NVC. Embassy received last Monday and i received letter today to go ahead and schedule interview, which i had done already this past Tuesday ...

Its sooo close now!
