Has anyone had any luck reaching the NVC today? i keep calling the 202 number but everytime i hit the 0 to contact a live person it hangs up on me.

And the 603 like usual... Been waiting for more than 30 mins and still waiting..

Sep18 - Finally.. NOA2!!!
Oct11 & 12 - SLEC medical exam - PASSED!
Oct24 - USEM Manila interview - PASSED! Thanks God..

My fiance is near DC and it's on Sandy's path. So far it's only raining a lot but the wind is not that strong. I hope nothing bad will happen. The worst situation is near the coast, where there is a possibility of flooding...

Wind is really picking up here in New York... But so far I am safe...

The wind is nasty here in North Carolina. I can only imagine what you're getting. Please be safe!!! It's nothing to mess with, due to the cold front/storm it's merging with.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Andie! How are you? What's the status for you now?

Still an unknown quantity I'm afraid... we were advised last week by the local office, after an Infopass appointment that they are finally assigning us a Case number - nothing received from them so far... my fiance was to contact them today. After all this time all we know is that every time someone looks at the file, they retrieve it from the system under our names and it gets all mixed up with our 2011 petition again (which was denied because of missing docs - no RFE). We were told they would expedite, but we need the case number to do that. A ridiculously long road and I'm tired...
