OMG OMG OMG - here is my story. My NOA1 had a receipt date of March 5. Just like you all, you can imagine how difficult it was waiting almost 8 months for some type of activity. I called USCIS several times in the past and they were unable to give me any information. I was past the normal processing time and I finally decided to talk to my brother who is a New York State Assembly Man and he called Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Kirsten Gillebrand two days ago. Low and behold, this morning I received a text message confirmation that my NOA2 is on its way!! I could not believe it. I can't believe that the ppl at VSC were literally sitting on my application for 8 months and did not get started on it until my Senators called them. This injustice needs to stop. I urge all of you to get in contact with your government officials and have them nudge the VSC people. It works. Good luck and God Speed

I just waited 45 business days for my local congressman to make and inquiry and now i will contact my.senators office.. i hope i have the same luck as you getting my approval.

It really seems the senator is the way to go. To get it moving all super quickly I would suggest going on their website and printing off their privacy act notice and signing it/scanning it back into the computer. I got everything together so my request for help would include every last detail. They got on it right away and within days of them saying they sent in their inquiry I was approved.

Well I tried to be polite. My fiancé laughs when he sees people complain about waiting a whopping 3 months!! :)

omgersh, it still annoys me to no end when people complain about waiting 3 months OR when people post a whole new thread to tell everyone they were approved in... 57 days! 62 days! or maybe 71 days! Yes, that really ticks me off. I think those people have no sense. You know most of the people on this site are waiting still for approvals and in agony, why would you make a show of your 2 month approval? argh.

Couldn't agree with you more. I haven't waited as long as you guys but today is 190 days for me. Starting to go a bit postal here

I'm sorry. To me, there is nothing worse than having to wait. I think it's my life lesson.

I just sent in a congressional inquiry to Senator Barbara Boxers office today, Im really hoping that I get a better turnout over the local congressman that did the first one. I called today to get an update because the 45 business days has passed and no one was in the office to assist me. Seems like they are not very concerned about peoples inquiries.

Well I did that LOL just not sure how to put it in the post. Do people just enter it manually or copy and paste in every post they do or put it somewhere in their profile?

go to your profile and then on "change profile". at the about me section you should be able to change your signature. as soon as youve made one of those tickers it will tell you the link you need to put it on a forum. copy/paste that link in your signature section.
