Seriously, yall need to generate a landscaping project :D

We did. There is a lot we did between visits, and a lot on hold until my tiger comes home for good. Unfortunately, the weather is turning with the seasons, so we will have to wait until spring. More planning. Seriously, we shopped for our home, and I haven't hung anything or painted as I want him to do it with me, so it's our home.

Yep. Senator time...

Will have to wait until my congressional inquiry ends on friday to contact the senators office but yes you are all right its now senator time. Theres no way they can be working on backgrounds for over eight months.

Honestly, send it in now. Tell them how your congressman has been ignored. Don't wait. You've waited 8 months already!! Use this 'election year' thing to your advantage...

Oh man, I have painted, hung stuff, did some planting flowers, picked out furniture.... I saved a few things to do with Nick, because I do want him to feel like it's his home as well. However, I can't help wanting things to be just perfect when he gets here. :D I want him to walk in the door and feel like "This home is beautiful, and it's mine!" Hah.

Here starts another week of waiting at 245 days. Just got off the phone with tier 2 about my second service request and they told me the same old hoopla ... backgrounds pending and they cant give me any more info than that. :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: what a bunch of #######.

Don't worry. I didn't get approved until 255 days. Thus, it can't be that much longer! I would say contact the senator too. I don't know what really did it for us in the end, but I know our approval came 2-3 days after I received the letter from my senators office saying they had sent in a notice to USCIS... I kind of feel like they have more power than congress somehow.

Happy Monday everybody!!!

i myself have my interview on wednesday - going to frankfurt tomorrow to stay in a hotel. i am pretty nervous already, even though ive only read good reviews so far (in fact, i stopped reading them, because they all said the same: everyone was very nice, they asked easy questions and then they got approved, but the waiting was annoying ;) ). i know, with the frankfurt embassy, theres not really anything to worry about - but i keep thinking: what if i am the FIRST person theyre mean to? (just like each time i play the lottery i am thinking: well, SOMEONE has to win - why not me? haha.... ). but i guess, since ive never won the lottery so far, theres a good chance i wont be the first person, frankfurt embassy is mean to... haha... :)

have a good week everyone and get lots of noa2s and pack3 and 4s... ;)

Best of luck to you tin-jen!

I want share my good news with all of you that after 232 days, I just received a text message from USCIS that my petition has been approved. I can not believe it and has just finished telling my fiancee the good news. I was seriously expecting and RFE or a rejection after all this time but I guess some petitions are just used as door stoppers until you file a service request. Thank God and thank you all for your support and encouragement on this difficult journey and I prey that all of you that are waiting will receive good news soon. :D
