I think it is harder for the beneficiary as they are in a limbo, and can't really make career changes during the waiting period. The beneficiary has to leave their job, friends and family behind and virtually start from scratch again once they enter the States. The petitioner usually only has to deal with the separation.

This is so true! Why my Fiance cant understand this.. sad..

Yes we're now in the RFE queue of the adjudicator. If they get paid on closed files they'll have a vested interest in getting us done...

Hey thanks... well the first one was our error really - we didn't realise some of our docs hadn't gone in the pack till just after sending - just one of those things - waited for the NOA1 to get our number then sent the rest thinking they would match them up - but they didn't and we were eventually denied. People have been RFE'd for exactly the same thing but it didn't work for us. But this time it isn't us .. hopefully it wont be too long, but who knows...

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Oh my god.... DON'T go by my timeline!! Dhl has messed up, which is why it has almost taken a week to get our pack 3 docs to the embassy. Also, they had put something on the envelope and couldnt read who the recipient was going to be anymore, which led to our pack floating around at the embassy, with no one knowing which office it was supposed to go to! All of this cost us at least 2 weeks! This wont happen to you, so your December wedding might still be possible!

Well... It might have been your fault the first time, but you noticed it soon enough and sent in the missing stuff... They just didnt manage to match it all up. But the end of all this is near for you guys and biggest part of waiting lays definitely behind u now! :)
