Bud im glad we got someone we can vent with here. I think no one really understands the visa waiting period as all the VJ people. My friends always say, relax its only 6 months!, Its only 3 more months!

3 months for us seems like an awful long time!

Very true! To most people, all they need to do is reach out to hold their loved one's hand. Or call and in a few moments they are together. For us, we have many many miles separating us. It's agony to be apart. And true, we have chosen this path, most don't get how tough it is. Months seem like years...

My fiancé and I haven't seen each other since September 3rd, 2011. We do not have the luxury of Skype, or FaceTime. He only owns a basic phone so we can email and Facebook chat, that is all. Because I am working 3 jobs and him 2, just to make sure we can afford a wedding and all the other fiananial aspects of this visa, visits are out of the question. When we are supposedly going to have our NO2 it will mark one year apart. I'm disappointed that VSC is taking so long because we have already sacrificed so much to be together. I was working in Zambia as a teacher and my contract said I was not allowed to date while there. It just so happens that I fell in love with a fellow teacher. So I left my post early, which meant leaving Zambia, so we could be "together". We've made it through the long haul so it really is only a few more months. But in all reality it's been much harder on us knowing this is the last obstacle in our path... And it just won't budge.

You two more than anything deserve to get your NoA2... such sacrifice! Not seeing each other since September is true dedication. I am spoiled and able to see my love every two months or so. I sincerely hope your NoA2 arrives swiftly. I agree with you; there is nothing we can do but wait, and it just keeps getting pushed back further and further. And who knows what is going on there exactly. I'm hoping secretly that there will be a firestorm of approvals from VSC suddenly. Wouldn't that be great?!
