OK. How many case are there in a stack, usually? I'm glad VSC seems to be speeding up.

It varies greatly from each stack. VSC does seem to be picking up speed. They say CSC and VSC swaps back and forth with the lead. GO VSC! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Good morning Marchies. I got the text this morning as I was walking in to work, then I rushed to log on to the USCIS site to check. Finally my petition is approved. Just like the sentiments of others, although this should be a very happy time to shout it from the mountain top, USCIS makes it a bit difficult because our fellow Marchies (and some February folks) are still waiting. I've bonded with many of you and I will not leave this thread until everyone on our active list is approved. (F) I'm also interested to hear about everyone's next steps (issues, questions, comments, advice, etc) up to POE, so I'll be here beyond USCIS approval. So come on VSC!! More approvals!!

Great news Islandgal!!! I hope everything goes very fast from now on, you so deserve it :thumbs:

There were 7 in my stack. All were all processed either end of September or first week in October. I'm the only one left now. I have some complications in my case so that may be the reason for the delay but who knows. In our case the Petitioner has some relevant criminal records we had to disclose. We sent certified copies of the court records and a certified letter from the Sheriff's office. If they looked at our file and wanted more info then they would ask for it I guess. May just be bad luck of the draw. I am sure everything else in our pack is good. From reading what others have got RFE's for there is nothing that sticks out that I didn't send. We had plenty of primary evidence of meeting in last 2 years etc. Just have to keep waiting. Im trying to be patient but I get really worried when I see others who are waiting 240 days +.

VAWA

February 10, 2014 - NOA1 for I-360, I485 and I-765

March 14, 2014 - Biometrics

April 4, 2014 - Approval of I-360!

May 14, 2014 - Approval of EAD

June 23, 2014 - I-485 transferred to NBC

August 7, 2014 - Put in service request

September 23, 2014 - Interview - approved!

October 4, 2014 - Green card received

Total time:7 months 25 days
