How would one go about chasing up to find out what's happening in terms of the case being sent to NVC/The embassy etc?

I think u should call nvc and ask them if they receive your file or not

If they said yes , ask them if your file have left to the consulate

if yes, when ?

and after that you track your shippement in www.dhl.com

Hi All, ive been away from VJ for a couple of days and have just caught up on al the posts. Congrats to everyone with approvals it looks like its been a good few days. I reach 200 days of waiting on Sunday and Im hoping to hear something soon. I know others have been waiting longer so my best wishes go to them for approvls this week. I read that someone asked about a second visit to the US during the K1 process. I have had two visits since we filed our I-129F in March and next week I go back for my third visit. I am alo planning to go over for Christmas as I'm not able to move there until March as my employment contract ends at the end of Feb. When I started this process I thought 12 months would be plenty of time for things to run their course even with some delays but now i'm getting worried when see others waiting for so long, and what if we get an RFE? Ahhh I don't want to think about it, just taking things one step at a time. Anyway, I hope tody brings more March approvals, its frustrating seeing so many in April get approved when there are about 60-70 Marchies left!

I know this feeling , it's very hard to deal with this , plz be positive and don't think about rfe , Im sure u will be approved as soon as possible .

Try to call them and put a service request , it will be helpful

The advice everyone has given me is to call NVC directly. I emailed them last week..and this week, but haven't gotten a response. Contact them should probably be your first step.

Good luck!

Is it just me or has CSC not approved a case in 5 days? I mean I see one, but it's got some funky approval date that I assume is an error... and VSC it seems is putting out the quantity that CSC was putting out before? Maybe? Are we picking up steam?

I think you're right! CSC couldn't keep that pace for long.. and they do switch out. Now it's time for VSC to kick some *ss... oops. ;)

My fiance loves cheeseburgers. Sometimes I joke that he's like Whimpy from Popeye ("I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a cheeseburger today!"). So, I would have to say what he loves most is the old retro diners we have here where you can get a cheeseburger, fries, and a fantastic milkshake (the milkshakes of England just can't compete). Oh, and Wendy's! Truly, much of what he loves is cheeseburger related. :D

LOL mine, too! Loves those diners, and American V8 engines, too.

Good question. Good morning friends. It's about time VSC kicked some booty. CSC can rest for a few months, but only after they approve res4688.

Answer: I think the economic opportunities and just the variety and way of life in America. He has traveled to a few places before (Europe, Africa and the States), but he loved America and everything about it (including me). He appreciates the way technology has a big part in our lives. The other day when I visited him, we were chatting and I told him that I hadn't been to a bank in a very long time. That's because I have direct deposit and pay all my bills online and use my debit card for many things. In Jamaica, people still visit the bank to cash their paper pay check...they go to the bank to withdraw funds and do transactions. They still go to brick and mortar facilities to pay bills for simple things like cable, electricity, etc... So you can see why one would love America's way of life... He also loves the convenience and easy access to everything (restaurants, pizza  , stores, movies, etc..). I love the country of my birth, but I'm just saying...
