We have been approved! I'm excited and Im sorry for those still waiting, I know the pain of the wait. But now I know the sweet relief that is being approved. I didn't believe I had logged into the right account at first. I cannot wait till you all can have the excitement and joy that i have had. I thought love was pretty awesome.... Being out of USCIS's hands.... Way better. It will come. I promise!

Vrooum, what does the latest list of active Marchies look like?

Islandgal, you just tell them that you'll keep calling them until they get a move on your file. Also, mention that as a tax-paying citizen, you have the right to know what is going on with your file. I'm continuing to keep you and the rest who are waiting in my prayers. It becomes exhausting daily with the constant wondering and patience wears thin. I think that's why I got sick all of a sudden with the change in weather. I became unmotivated with everything even including not wanting to talk to my fiance which was really sad. The only thing that kept me going was constant praying and pleading with God. I think I wore Him out with sending prayers mixed with praise and begging. LOL. What I've learned from this experience is to keep the faith and hope alive every day despite your personal feelings inside.

Thank you VJ members for being my support circle! Islandgal, I know you are next--It's still early in the week. God's got you and your fiance on this, I know He will come through for you and the rest of the waiting members.

On a side note, please visit my profile for a status update.

Congrats to everyone who got approved today!

Mad is an understatement when you have bee waiting this long especially when you see people complaining at their four month mark. I just get infuriated when I see this and like you said no one seems to care or want to help. But I look at it this way I don't think you will get over 300 days so you should be very close. Most people I see waiting this long get approved around the 260-280 day mark. What makes me even more mad is that by time i see my fiance again its going to be a year and a half. Today's venting has been concluded :protest:

You know, I feel like that might have to do with RFEs timing out past the 60 day mark. It "seems" like once an RFE times out past the 60 day mark and a service request goes through they begrudgingly hoist themselves from their seats and drag their @sses to that stack of dismissed petitions collecting dust in their cubicle (or at least that's how I picture it). There was some discussion as to whether the three letters at the beginning of service request meant anything. Perhaps, they do and service requests aren't paid any attention until they are so far past processing dates that someone could get sued for pain and suffering or something, who knows.

After 191 days of waiting, watching others get their NOA2 before us, after struggling to bear the site of CSC getting way ahead of VSC, we finally got our NOA2 . We were both on video when i checked the status and we both could not believe it finally happened. Thanks to all for their support and this great site. Let the fun begin
