Are you the petitioner or the beneficiary? The petitioner (your fiance) needs to call the NVC to get the case # that's specific to your country. At least that's what I've read on VJ...

Pretty much se... Cleaning house, laundry, dumb SyFy channel in background. I'm also on the hunt for a newer car to replace the one I just sold.

So what's everyone doing this cold Sunday?

I almost feel bad for saying it because I know that everyone else is missing their loved ones so much, but I am sitting around with my sweetie. He is studying and I am playing on the internet. This week we have been watching downloaded episodes of "Hoarding" and "My Strange Addiction". He is now a little freaked out. This may NOT have been the best way to introduce him to Americans. lol

I am leaving in a few days though to go back to the US. I had hoped we would have our VISA by now, but it looks like it will be quite a while longer. No word at all from NVC. Hope to have him with me again by Thanksgiving....or at the very least by our wedding Dec 12th!

Our Journey:

10/02/2011: Met while working in Afghanistan
10/15/2011: First "date"
01/03/2012: Hired an attorney to file our K-1
02/05/2012: He returned to Macedonia
02/29/2012: My first visit to Skopje
03/03/2012: Met my future family
03/15/2012: I-129F package mailed / returned to Afghanistan
03/19/2012: Received notification of arrival of I-129F
03/21/2012: NOA1 mailed
07/15/2012: 2nd trip to Skopje
09/20/2012: NOA2 notice
10/05/2012: Attorney Received Case number from NVC
10/25/2012: Received packet 3 ( the same time I left on my flight back to the US)
11/06/2012: Medical Scheduled
11/15/2012: Interview - Denied due to "lack of proof of relationship"
11/27/2012; 2nd Interview scheduled - APPROVED!
11/29/2012: VISA IN HAND!
11/30/2012: POE NYC-JFK
12/12/2012: WEDDING!!!

02/26/2013: I-485 Filed

09/10/2013: Green card received NO INTERVIEW!!!!

Hey, Nargie, your fiance need to contact NVC for case#, and the best way to reach them is by phone. The best time to call them is after 6:00PM. My fiance also sent an email to them but he hasn't got reply yet, so he decided to call them and they told him case# and when it was forwarded to the US embassy. I hope the information I copy and past below will help you and other members in this thread seeking NVC contact information.

NVC Contact Information

By E-mail

The NVC’s e-mail address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.

E-mail is the NVC’s preferred method of communication.

Note: Use your personal e-mail account to contact the NVC. If you click on the email address above and your computer does not automatically connect to your personal email, copy and paste the above e-mail address into an e-mail using your personal e-mail account.

In order to ensure a prompt response:

•Enter your NVC Case Number or USCIS Receipt Number in the Subject Line of the e-mail.

•Provide the applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth.

•If the petition is employment-based, include the employer's company/organization name.

•Provide the attorney of record’s name, law firm and address (if applicable).

By Phone

Customer Service Representatives are available to respond to case inquiries.

Telephone number: (603) 334-0700

Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)
