The thing is that he used his credit card, I had cash cause they charge me huge commission if I use my card abroad... But they require you to meet once? Okay, I can fuuly proove Miami. If they believe in Europe that's their decision... Haha and I had all the boardind passes from Europe (like 10) and he told me "Why are you collecting this trash?" sooo I threw it away... pfff :bonk::)

03-03-2012 - NOA1 received

09-26-2012 - RFE

10-09-2012 - RFE response sent

10-15-2012 - status changed to "RFE review"

10-31-2012 - NOA2 (after 8 months of hell!)

11-09-2012 - NVC received

11-20-2012 - medical examination

11-22-2012 - packet 3 from the Embassy received and sent back

12-06-2012 - interview: approved

12-17-2012 - POE: Washington DC

12-29-2012 - Wedding

AOS

03-01-2013 - AOS package sent

04-28-2013 - EAD/AP approved

08-02-2013 - update from USCIS (it may take another 6 months from now due to delays!)

09-30-2013 - AOS approved

(I thought I'd thrown all mine away too, but when I had to collect everything I was surprised at how many receipts and rubbish as well as all the photos etc. I still had...haha) - he proposed after my last visit so I had no other opportunity to collect any other evidence.

Now, just waiting to see what's gone wrong, but they told my fiance they seemed to have EVERYTHING they needed - so no telling what the hold up is :unsure:

I've just been for a run to try and fight off the building anger and frustration - (I'll let you know if it works.) :angry:

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Anyway, I guess its strange for you to have to start thinking Packet 3 or have you made a start already?

Sometimes when I'm feeling brave I look through the list - I did some dummy forms months ago just so I had all the information together for each one. I think I have most things I need.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file

I had that ready a while ago. But like AmazingLove says, I dont feel comfortable talking about anything out of respect for those not yet approved. I feel so sad that my friends are still waiting, but I think things will start picking up next week. VSC had to get stuff out of the way. And now it's time to wipe out March's remaining ones! :)

I feel so sorry for our members in this thread who got RFE to response to before a final decision is made and also our members who are still awaiting NOA2. Everyday we dream, we wish, we are thirsty and hungry to be with our loved ones and most of the time we feel down and tormented because of the delay in processing the case. I believe it's only a matter of time, you all will be approved. Things will be moving very fast after you get NOA2, so just keep the good hope and faith.

Thanks...maybe by the end of month after all this H1B mess is over.
