Folks, I just got approved. I'm so sorry, for I know you deserve to get it before I do. VSC has taken something that should be a celebration and made it very awkward. I'm sorry, my friends. I will NOT abandon you as you wait...we are in this together!

I have to admit I have checked USCIS twenty times this afternoon.... Since tomorrow's USCIS's weekend and they have Monday off, maybe we'll see something next week?

Congrats Vroum and Tigerflower! About time I say!!!

Does anybody know how long it takes for the RFE to come to you, I tried calling USCIS to ask if they can tell me whats the RFE about so I can start preparing, but of course they refuse to tell me anything.

Also has anyone tried making a 2nd visit with the VWP while waiting for this K1?

I believe that it would be unlikely to get NOA2 without any photos.

just some advise for later: don't send your documents to the embassy via dhl!!!!!! they suck! i sent off my pack 3 for the embassy last saturday and they still haven't received it!!!! it took till tuesday till it even left my city and then the estimated delivery date was yesterday. however it wasn't delivered and it is still sitting in a different city than where it has to go!!!! so if you ever have anything important to mail, DON'T use DHL!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got the notification on Sep 26 and had in in hand on Oct 3.

Our K-1 journey:

02-20-2012 - I-129F package sent

03-03-2012 - NOA1 received

09-26-2012 - RFE

10-09-2012 - RFE response sent

10-15-2012 - status changed to "RFE review"

10-31-2012 - NOA2 (after 8 months of hell!)

11-09-2012 - NVC received

11-20-2012 - medical examination

11-22-2012 - packet 3 from the Embassy received and sent back

12-06-2012 - interview: approved

12-17-2012 - POE: Washington DC

12-29-2012 - Wedding

AOS

03-01-2013 - AOS package sent

my fiancé made three separate visits while awaiting the K1 with no trouble.
