Nargie, I thought you got your NOA2 (your timeline isn't updated)? Your boyfriend is the Petitioner? Looks like he may have to find a co-sponsor?

....And so the one approved VJ VSC petition of the day goes to an April filer. :wow:

If he doesn't have enough money in the bank to qualify on his own, he'll need to find a family member or friend who's a USC who meets the qualification for the affidavit of support. The person would have to make enough income to cover him and their family. In addition, the person is taking on the financial responsibility for him, so that he will not become a public charge. Do a search on the VJ forums for co-sponsorship or look in the regional forums for help.

Ok March fliers I need help ... ... I am anticipating my RFE request ... I bought 3 notebooks (with dividers) 1 for USCIS, 1 for me (backup) and 1 for my fiance who I am visiting soon (it can be the start for her to be ready for the interview)... Should I organize by Month and have subdividers for activities like facebook, skype, visits (photos) etc... or organize by activities or something else...?

What should it contain (in general) remember my fiance will use it for her interview ...?

That's a good idea.... I plan on doing mine by category:

1) communication (skype logs, whatsapp logs, phone bill detail, facebook messages, emails, cards, etc)

2) financial (affidavit of support, IRS transcripts, bank letter, job letter, paycheck stubs)

3) photos

4) miscellaneous (copy of k1 application, passport copy, etc..)

Etc etc

Sorry to hear that he got fired. Look up the poverty guideline for 2012, if your fiance earn less than what's required, you both might want to consider having a co-sponsor as it seems, the person's income must be above the poverty guideline for his/her household and you. Still your fiance need to fill out affidavit of support form as well and provide financial evidence as he can.

About case# your fiance may need to contact NVC, instead of waiting for words from them. We were approved 6 days after you, but we've already had our case#. By the way, please update your signature and timeline.

I think the embassy site says 10 - 12 weeks, but I've heard 6 weeks. Doesn't matter, because as soon as he gets a date, he's flying here to spend the time together waiting... who cares, it's only money, right? Grrrr.

It WILL happen... you will get your wish :)

I swear, if I didn't have you guys on here, I would go completely bonkers and my family would see an ugly mug shot of me on the evening news... with the headline: "Woman assaults VSC with rotten tomatoes..."

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

You make me laugh so much with this one. I like reading your post!

EdwardClement, if you look at Igors list, it seems as if RFE's can be issued and NOA2's sent as soon as 2 weeks after the RFE. I'm sure it depends on how long it takes for you to respond. Hoping for the best for you and yours.

for 196 days of waiting, the just issued and RFE...

March 13,2012 = I-129F Mailed to Dallas,texas

March 15,2012 = received email from USCIS,that they got the packet

March 20,2012 = received email from USCIS for our NOA1,and they routed to VSC

June 28, 2012 = touch

October 03,2012 = F received RFE via text

" Dave and Rose forever "
