While I greatly appreciate your positive outlook, the numbers don't lie. No movement on my entire stack means numb n*ts is working on the Dream Act. This headline just popped up on CNN News:

President Barack Obama enjoys the backing of 70% of likely Latino voters, according to a CNN/ORC International poll, slightly higher than the 67% of Latinos who voted for him in 2008. Polling also showed that 56% of registered voters said the main focus of U.S. policy on undocumented immigrants should be developing a plan that would allow them to become legal residents. That's a change from a year ago, when 55% said the focus should be on deporting undocumented immigrants and stopping more from coming to the United States.

Let's hope he wins.

well, the dream act problem is on a whole different page! what i was trying to say is: they definitely didn't SKIP you! you're already on someone's desk - maybe waiting in line after the dream act people, but definitely ready to be worked on - that's why someone else (who is probably new and still needs to make a good impression which is why he is actually working ;) ) has already run out of dream act petitions and is thus starting with april k1s - still there are no other march k1s left for him to put on his desk.

i know - it probably doesnt make you feel better - and i am just trying to help... but maybe you at least feel better knowing your petition hasn't been skipped over!!!! i know there is probably not much that would make you guys feel any better at this point, except for a noa2... but i am desperately trying to cheer you up! :energy:

well, it happens to every month, though - remember? a while ago we were talking about how vermont usually starts approving the next month when they're at about 50% on igor's list... it's just bad luck who gets left behind at first. but this is nothing unusal, so you are all still getting your approvals! don't worry too much and don't think they lost your files or anything! i know it sucks big time - but at least, maybe knowing this happens each month helps you keep your spirits up a little? it could be any day now for everyone of you guys still waiting! so don't give up! and don't think they skipped you - they didn't. there's just some guy who is done with his petitions and got the next few from the box - apparently there were no more march petitions in the box, wich means that all yours are on someones desk already!!!!!!

So there is someone at VSC that is conscientious about his/her work and is trying to help people and help him/herself at the same time ... I wish I knew who he or she is so I could thank them and tell them to keep up the good work!!!... because at least some people are able to move on with their life ... :bonk:
