Yes, I did. When I realized this, I had my fiance sent me his and then I mailed it off to Vermont in July with both our letters. *sigh* Please God, don't tell me that that's probably the cause of the delay. :(

I hope they could match up the letters with your file....oh, goodness!!!! after waiting almost 7 months who wants to be put on suspense again. I really hope and wish you get approval with no RFE.

I have some questions about NVC if anyone knows...

Are all petitions sent there are do some by-pass and go directly to the Embassy? How do you know?

If it does go through NVC, do you get notified when they receive it and/or when they send it to the Embassy?

...I see there is a place on our timelines for this information, but I have not received anything after the NOA2 notice. I saw a few posts about "tracking" your package once it leaves USCIS but I am not finding out how.

Help anyone?

Just going to sleep... 12.25am at the bottom of the world - I'll be dreaming of approvals all round so hope it comes true for lots of Marchies... gdnite people -_-

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Well, hopefully there will be a lot of approvals today! I'm counting on it. We have had some not so good approval numbers the last few days... Still waiting to hear back from my congressman. Hopefully, trying on wedding dresses and exploring venues will put me in a better mood! Somehow, I kinda doubt it. :unsure:

Huge congratulations to everyone getting approved!

It's frustrating seeing lots of people who filed after us being approved, but at the same time I'm so happy that the wait is over for those people.

Here's to hoping everyone gets a decision soon..

Oh thank you! That was very helpful. I am unable to call them but I did find this on their website http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html. I sent an email. Hopefully will the reply will be faster than anything from the VSC! :)

02/29/2012: My first visit to Skopje
03/03/2012: Met my future family
03/15/2012: I-129F package mailed / returned to Afghanistan
03/19/2012: Received notification of arrival of I-129F
03/21/2012: NOA1 mailed
07/15/2012: 2nd trip to Skopje
