I never included a copy of every page of my passport and never got an RFE for it. I just included the bio/signiture page and it was color copies.

I read this on VJ , so I just give her the advice .

Submitting all the pages of the passeport is safer than just bio page .

Finally ,I think it depends from adjudicator to another

Guess I've got an RFE coming then... :(

What's confusing is it said birth certificate OR passport... Not both?

Don't worry too much over nothing. There is no need to copy the entire passport page. For proof of meeting within 2 years, my fiance only made a photocopy (not in color) of his passport stamp with visa entry and bio/signature page, some photos of us (me & him) and with family I don't remember if it's dated or not. There's no affidavit from family or friend. For proof of citizenship, he sent a copy of his birth certificate.

We were approved without RFE. Hope it might put your mind at ease, Tigerflower.

Thank you for this. I put a birth certificate for citizenship.I put everything separated by tabs. I have three tabs in the back for each visit with boarding passes, receipts, photos that have dates and names. Then way at the back are the passport stamps but no bio copy. See the worry? Guess I'll just have to hope my person is understanding.

This should be enough for proof of meeting in person, actually you sent more than us except for the bio page of the passport but that shouldn't be a problem or a cause of RFE.

I don't know , but look at this link , u can find some helpful informations :

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/293330-calling-uscis/

Hey thanks for the link - I've never seen this before (in our long history with USCIS :( )

Its very thorough. My fiance called last week and they told him they would make an infopass appointment and send an appointment card, which they have done. I thought Tier 2's and Infopass had the same access etc, but looks like that may not be the case. I'm so confused now...

By the way, enjoying the foodie discussion.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Well, there are differences between Tier 2 and Infopass, but then it seems if you talk to a Tier 2 they have access to same info as Infopass - and Tier 2 is only a phone call. Though I guess its easier to deal with someone in person (as in Infopass)... just sick of waiting.

Anyway... yes I'm a foodie. Unfortunately where I'm living now, I don't have much of a kitchen - I used to love cooking, but I don't have space or facilities so much at the moment - most things are in storage. I like using lots of fresh vegetables with chicken/meat/fish especially and use garlic, lemon, fresh herbs etc a lot.

Nope! My fiancé only sent the birth certificate (copy of both front and back), and we were approved without any RFE! No need to worry about it.

Yes blue sheet is what came with the RFE.

One of you must get the passport stamped surely? That makes no sense. Do you have photos you've taken you can date and put your names on? You must have some sort of evidence to show...Get as many letters you can from family and friends!

Our photos didnt have a date stamp on when we took them, but the date of the photo taken is in the file of the photo, so when we print them out, we just asked the people working there to print them with the date. Once we had those- we just wrote on the back where were they taken.

Did you pay anything there with credit card or withdraw the money from ATM? If yes, the bank statements with date and place highlighted should be good.

For now u can prepare what I understood you already should have:

- again your photos with dates, your names and place written on the back

- statements from your friends and family stating that you have met, about the frequency of your visits with your statements as well.

- statement from his parents stating that you are spending the nights there

Just take a deep breath, gather what you have and what you can, organize it good, write the statements, explanations and hope for the best.
