I sent my RFE today finally. Well it took my only a couple days to sort it out.

Basically i sent them a 200+ page package more less.

30 pages of telephone calls

24 pages of Facebook Chats

10 pages of Text messages (100 iphone screen shots)

50 pages of Emails

Approximately 20 pages of photos, emails, itineraries, and hotel reservations, for each time we have been together. 5 times this year already.

5 sets of Affidavits, including pictures backing each affidavit from family and friends.

Plus each sheet of our passports, which i failed to send the first time.

What i did different this time was i bought color coded dividers with a table of contents explaining each section.

Each time we have been together, i have included our e-tickets. But also i have attached the page on my passport that shows the POE to where ever we have been and copy of her passport page matching the dates with the etickets and some boarding passes we have. Plus the emails between each other regarding the event. I also hand wrote the date on each picture and location of the photo (city location).

I did this for each time we haave been together.

Its been hours and hours of work since i got my RFE Monday afternoon. Not to mention im Jet lagged from the 9 hour Moscow difference and i havent gotten much rest.

<<venting>>

If this doesnt work, then i dont know what they want from me.

Ah, and just to be safe, i put my contents in an envelope. But i copied the blue RFE page in color and taped it to this envelope  I put a note that said, COPY- ORIGINAL INSIDE.

On the other side of the envelope i wrote in huge letters

K1 VISA, RFE

Plus all my information, ticket, address, cell phone number, etc etc.

I wasnt going to take any chances this time.

And once you open the envelope, the first thing you see is the blue RFE letter. Ive been reading way too many horror stories about the package getting lost cus something was on top of the RFE blue cover letter

Good! I'll be including EVERYTHING for my interview with the RFE as well (if I get one).

I think if you are expecting an RFE or not, if you are waiting this long, i would still proceed and prepare the packet again, with calm and give all the details possible. If you get an RFE, you will be ready to send and even if you dont get an RFE it will be ready for the interview coming up.

I have my interview packet for my fiancee ready basically. All i gotta do is print now again. and put it together.

It wouldnt take me more than 1 hr to put my new packet together again now and send to her.

The way i did my packet this time was fool proof ( i hope!!)

its step by step ,

1.Cover page for time you visited with dates and locations.

2. POE stamps on passports, visas, both persons if available, and boarding passes.

3. hotel reservations, flight reservations, receipts

4. 10 pictures, with dates and city location hand written on each one

True...... I was preparing my package slowly.... The major things are still outstanding, like the Affidavit of Support, Job Letter and Bank Letter. I'm waiting to get the NOA2 so that it can be as current as possible. The other stuff I've started gathering already - IRS tax transcripts, skpe logs, photos, facebook stuff, phone bills showing numbers, whatsapp messenger chats, etc. etc.. The NOA2 is my push to put everything together and for him to get his documents from Jamaica (police cert, nonmarriage certs).

Isn't it sad that after waiting over 200 days, we'd actually appreciate even an RFE???

That's how I felt too. I wasn't even THAT sad to get the RFE because it was something and it meant my case wasn't lost. Now a month after turning it in with no word I'm feel decidedly more moody about the whole thing.

Aww, thanks. That's very nice of you to say :)

Mm, and hey... Now I have a question for everyone. What do I need to send in the packet to my fiance after our NOA2 is approved? Is it just the Affidavit of Support, yes? My Dad is sponsoring my fiance as, well, I've been in school full time and therefore not making enough at the moment. I've also sent him a copy of the whole packet I originally sent to USCIS minus the stuff I sent in for the RFE we got which I will also send him with my AoS. Do I need to include anything else?
