Yay! My estimated approval date on here has changed from August 6th/ 7th (where it has stayed for a looooong time) to August 5th today! It is silly to be happy about something like that, but still I am :lol: There are so many "approved!"-threads on here lately, that is really encouraging. I have the feeling that right now, at this 3+ months state, nothing exciting is happening in this visa process. We got used to the waiting, and somehow have the feeling that we will never get approved ... On the other hand, 3 months in means that half of the waiting time for NOA2 is done!

I'm going to see my fiancé in about two weeks - this will shorten the waiting a little :D I'm looking forward to seeing some February filers being approved!

My timeline also changed yesterday. It had consistently ranged from the last week in July to the first week of August and now the range is August 10th-20th! And a lot of people on VJ seemed to get their approvals this week. I have a visit planned from August 25th-September 2nd and I was hoping to hear something by or during my visit so that if it is an RFE then we would be together in America to gather what evidence they need. I'm trying not to think about how long its taking but its hard not to check Igor's list everyday lol!

VAWA

February 10, 2014 - NOA1 for I-360, I485 and I-765

March 14, 2014 - Biometrics

April 4, 2014 - Approval of I-360!

May 14, 2014 - Approval of EAD

June 23, 2014 - I-485 transferred to NBC

August 7, 2014 - Put in service request

September 23, 2014 - Interview - approved!

October 4, 2014 - Green card received

Total time:7 months 25 days

I think the VJ list is a bit confused at the moment as last time I looked at the "Processing Dates for Common Forms" List it was saying VSC was on 27th Jan now its dropped back to 20th and CSC is on 18th Jan.

Something is happening in VSC they are sooo slow recently. At first I was so happy that they are processing our petition but now ... :bonk: But anyway that NOA2 approval yesterday gave me a little hope ... Waiting for my fiance to come here after 27 days :dance:

It feels so much harder to wait now that I know we'll be getting our NOA2 soon. One of the hardest things about this process - aside from being apart of course - is the total lack of communication from the USCIS, I'd be going crazy without visajourney!

You have the same date of NOA1 as me. It is painful to be apart. Let's keep praying and believing that it will come soon.
