"Here's the nifty part. While seeing the same "Initial Review" appear on your screen (or hopefully Not!), you'll notice your case number is displayed in the upper right corner. It's not sound programming, as it is displayed in a text field, not just text. But because of the way it is displayed, you can click in the box and change the last digit (or two or three) to see other petitions status. It doesn't reveal anything personal about the other petitioner, but you can see the date and their status to compare against yours."

WOW..had no idea you could do that! I only checked the 10 around my number but found out that there was movement on all applications just 3 numbers ahead of mine! Of course, there is no rhyme or reason to how they do this but it makes it more exciting than nothing happening at all! lol Thank goodness there isn't a limit to how many times a day you can check that site. I swear I check at least every 2 hours.

Also, nargie has posted her awesome list of numbers in this thread. By viewing those numbers at USCIS you can jump right to the I-129Fs without having to look at all the other types of applications. She's done a great job putting that list together.

Well, I have an update as I called USCIS during my lunch break (from my car no less). The girl who answered was actually very friendly and nice. She seemed genuinely stunned that I've waited so long. After she said they were processing February 6 at VSC, I explained to her that the information was outdated and how I knew for a fact March 15, 20 and even April are getting approved. She then offered to put in a service request for me. I didn't have to get mad or ask for a 'tier 2' person. She put in the request and said to call back if I didn't hear back after 15 days. Who knows if it will help, but at least it feels like some sort of forward motion.

How do you get someone on the phone? lol Everytime I call, it tells me to enter my reciept number, then always tells me I didn't put in enough numbers, and hangs up. GRR!!!

wow, so a regular call-center person actually WAS able to put in a service request? that's new, since they always say, the software doesn't let them put one in, so even THAT is lie... interesting!

Just got off the phone with USCIS. Even though I'm over 6 months of processing, I'm still within normal processing times, and to call back in a month. I then asked to be transferred to a tier 2, and he said the same thing.

So we are at the mercy of the person's mood on the phone then?

Call 3,4 times and listen to the persons mood, if they seem nice, talk to them, if not hang up and start again

0 Consistency at the call centers. One says they're working on Jan 19. Another one says that theyre on Feb 6. Another one says his hands are tied down that only his manager (tier 2) can do something, and the next operator Tier 1 can actually do a service request..

Whos knows now... :wow: :wow:

Im listening to the radio as we speak... Great that YOU HAD A BAD DAY SONG is on.. haha

Apparently... this girl was REALLY upset that she had to do her job. And then when I asked to be transferred to a tier 2, she was SO disgusted, you would think I was asking her to physically run 15 miles. If they hadn't recorded my receipt number, I wanted to say, "to transfer me, you just press a button, right? I'm confused by your overly dramatic sigh."

It's weird cause I thought OUR lives were put on hold for OVER 6 months, but apparently we don't know how easy we have it compared to pushing buttons on the phone!
