Have you already filed for AOS? You'll need AP to leave the country and an EAD to work. You can ask to expedite them after you have your receipt for them (filed with AOS) but it isn't guaranteed.

Well i wanted to wait for the wife's first paycheck at her new job as its much higher then her old job which didn't meet the poverty guidelines for the Affidavit of Support, she starts the new job tomorrow but i'm thinking at this point i'm going to need to get the employment authorization letter from her boss and file with that after tomorrow and i guess try and call immigration and try to expedite the process.

Ill Contact the employer and try to see if i can salvage the job opportunity.

I was just offered a great job today that would start me april 2nd however i would need to fly into Montreal for 2 week training which means crossing a border... Is there anyway i can JUST get legel to work ASAP while filing for the AOS and GC or someone i could call to talk to?

Unfortunately to leave the USA you MUST have the AP document if you do not have the green card. Even if you expedite your EAD you cannot leave the USA without AP or green card, if you do - you will not be able to return, your AOS process will be abandoned and you will have to start over with a spousal visa process.

If you have applied for the AP and EAD then you can call USCIS and attempt to request an expedite on both of them due to job offer.
