The petitioner sponsor has never worked before, so what do I choose and write?

Unemployed since?? Since "ever"??

Also should i attach a paper explaining why he is not working?

And on question 25 Federal income tax information, if he never paid taxes I should leave that blank right?

Thank you very much

They are only asking for five years history, so just put Jan Five years ago - whatever date he started working.

For the tax returns you need to attach a letter explaining why you are not including them, and attach the applicable law that shows he didn't have to file taxes for those years.

I would recommend attaching pay stubs as well that show the current income is steady and sufficient.

We were in a similar case because my wife did not work the five years we were in Canada, so she was below the income requirements for filing taxes.

What do you mean but there is nothing to attach? Are you talking about the pay stubs recommendation?

Is he not working now?

He has never worked before and he is not working now. his mom is going to be our co-sponsor.

Ahhhhh, I see. That one is out of my realm of knowledge then, sorry.

If he isn't working, has never worked, and isn't planning on working...I don't know if he is even considered a sponsor. Does he receive support from the government? Because of he does and signs an affidavit of support for you he can get himself in some trouble, from what I understand.

How do you plan on living?

Answer the question. You can write whatever words you want that convey the fact that he has never had a job. He is still your primary sponsor because he is your husband.

Jdh: The USC can continue to get whatever support they are entitled to, though in this case I don't think the USC is getting any support. Signing an I-864 ha no bearing on that. He is obviously not going to be a qualified sponsor anyway, though he is still primary sponsor.

AOS for my husband
