Would this make me a red flag applicant?

I have applied for B2 visa in 2009 and was denied because there was a problem with my bank statement, and the CO said it was the worse bank statement he ever seen from that particular bank, I did try to explain to him that it was given to me by my cousin who was sponsoring me at that time, the CO made it clear that he denied me the visa because of the statement , and I want to know if that will make me a red flag applicant, I don't have any criminal background ,and have only applied for visa once , so I want to know if that will affect my K-1 visa? guys help me out

No, that won't be a problem; however, on certain forms that you will fill out throughout the process, it will ask if you have ever been denied a visa and you will have to answer "yes". My wife had a tourist visa revoked in 2010 and we were concerned about that, but in the end, we got the visa and it wasn't a problem. They did ask her about it at the K-1 interview in September 2011, but she just explained what happened and she got the visa.

04-29-2011: I-129F Sent
05-05-2011: I-129F NOA1
07-18-2011: I-129F NOA2
08-08-2011: NVC Received
08-09-2011: NVC Left
08-10-2011: Consulate Received
08-26-2011: Consulate mailed Packet 3 (invitation letter)
09-01-2011: Packet 3 (invitation letter) Received in US
09-10-2011: Packet 3 (invitation letter) Received in Mexico

Ghana? They see lots of silly documents, forged ones - so keep that in mind.

But - for a K-1 visa case, be certain to list the tourist visa outcome.
