Yeah :lol: just in case my IO hang out here too, then IO might change her mind.

I brought 3 full folders, 2 lbs each. The IO told me at the end of the interview that I don't need those because I applied base on 10 yrs. I guess you'd better bring everything.

Oh, she took a copy of my selective service record.

Selective service record? Like status letter? Can you send me an email with your experience? I have gotten gr8 reviews from different folks...I just wanna make sure I am on right track you know....I am filing based on 5 years, not married

Please add me please I submmitted my N-400 application March 18 and had my biometrics April 24, sent application to Phoenex lockbox,field office is Indianapolis, Until now i still did not get my interview letter after more than 2 months of biometrics.

Please edit my status because i submitte my application through Arizona Lock box not texas

and just an update i still didnt get my interview letter and it has been 1 week shy to 3 months since my biometrics/

Is that normal to not hear anything from them this long?

I don't know if it's normal but it's been 2 months since my biometrics and I haven't heard a peep about my interview. I called USCIS and asked to speak to a tier 2 customer service representative. That was meh, she was super nice but they can't do any real "digging" until I'm over my processing time. She did though request an update on my application (i.e. where it is right now in processing). I'm 30 days shy of being over my the processing timeframe for the Seattle field office, I'm interested to see how this is handled and what seems to by delaying my application.

For now I'm patiently waiting but it's very, very, frusturating.

Officially a citizen. My journey took 6 years, 6 months, and 29 days

Hmmmm I wonder if that's what happened to me? I'm glad you got everything sorted out!

Someone that filed in May has an interview date at the Seattle office :(

I called a tier 2 rep again today and they said that the standard timeline for all N400 applications is "technically" 6 - 8 months. Which I really don't understand if this is the case why are they also telling me to call back after 5 months because that means my application is "beyond" the processing time on their website?

Anyways, they have my biometrics in their system so I'm not sure what the heck is going on. I'll call back again next week and every week until the end of August - then I'll start calling every day :innocent:

Went in for biometrics 03/15/2012 ( had to get it done before going out of town 03/30/12)

Email notification 05/10/2012 "in line for interview"

Email notification 05/14/2012 " scheduled for interview"

Got interview letter by mail 05/18/2012

Date of the interview 06/18/2012 PASSED!!!!!!!!!!

Email notification 06/25/2012. application in the oath scheduling que.

Email notification. 06/26/2012. Scheduled for oath

Have you tried the InfoPass option? I am not sure if the immigration office is near-by you so you can take advantage of InfoPass appointment. I personally don't have experience with InfoPass but maybe it doesn't hurt to set one up and ask questions. Sorry about your situation and I hope things work out for you soon.

I could feel your pain. I saw a few people walked out of the interview with oath letter, where I got "decision cannot be made" and that got me :angry: :angry: :angry: as I have no red flags or anything.

Now I am at the oath ceremony which is on July 25. I think all you have to do it waiting. Good luck

Someone that filed in May has an interview date at the Seattle office :(

I called a tier 2 rep again today and they said that the standard timeline for all N400 applications is "technically" 6 - 8 months. Which I really don't understand if this is the case why are they also telling me to call back after 5 months because that means my application is "beyond" the processing time on their website?

Anyways, they have my biometrics in their system so I'm not sure what the heck is going on. I'll call back again next week and every week until the end of August - then I'll start calling every day :innocent:

Have you tried the InfoPass option? I am not sure if the immigration office is near-by you so you can take advantage of InfoPass appointment. I personally don't have experience with InfoPass but maybe it doesn't hurt to set one up and ask questions. Sorry about your situation and I hope things work out for you soon.

I wonder what the difference is between an InfoPass and speaking with a Tier 2 Rep? If I haven't heard anything by the first week of August I should make an appointment. It's hard because I work M - F so I'd need to take time off to deal with this.
