After staying in the "In line for interview scheduling" status for exactly a month, finally my status has changed to "Your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION is now scheduled for interview". :) Hope to get the letter soon.

Yeah it does..I stopped looking at uscis.gov n just wish and pray now!

Its the end of the month so let's hope something comes out in July for the rest of us waiting for letters for interview and oath!

Bypass the annoying voice prompt that comes if you want to

Once you get a live person ask to speak to a second level immigration rep because the first level rep read off the screen or some #######, which will only infuriate you

Thanks UMUC. It's my husband applying for it so I guess he needs to call. I plan to wait till Monday and if nothing then I'll have him make a call.

Updated my status.

OK so I received my Oath letter, which was quick. My oath is the day before I was due to go on a long Florida holiday, Phew! I was worried as i is the only time my wife and I can get time off work together. The journey is almost over!

I doubt it and that wouldn't make sense to wait till October..at least to me! But then again it is USCIS

My biggest fear is that my application is lost. I'm going to try calling today and see if I get some info.

Officially a citizen. My journey took 6 years, 6 months, and 29 days

My biggest fear is that my application is lost. I'm going to try calling today and see if I get some info.

So I just called, as I feared they can't do anything until I'm outside normal processing times.

So... I guess I'll hold down the fort for now and wait it out (there really needs to be a surrender emoticons :P)

Did you connect with Tier 2 rep when you called USCIS? Did you tell them that folks who have filed after you have been scheduled for interview? Do you have anything on your application that requires further scrutiny and background checks? Sometime this can be the cause of delay.

Ok now I'm just getting mad. A late April filer to the same DO already has an interview date :(
