Is your oath in the morning ..Can you travel to one of these location immeidately after ceremony http://travel.state....encies_913.html

If yes, than you can have the oath and go to passport service agency and get the passport same day. You may need prior appointment so take the appointment for July 3rd today itself, based on oath time and travel time.

If not, than I would say postpone the oath and enjoy the oath after coming back.

my ceremony appointment at 12 or 1 noon in Wilmington, NC !! and i live it Raleigh NC which is 2:30 housr away from my home ..

the nearest passport location from these agents to me is the Washington DC (4:30 hour Driving )

i really don't know what to do !! i should be happy at this point but its really confusing and disappointing I now have 2 options eaither ;

1- cancel my trip for all my family or delay it & waist my kids summer vacation and pay $150 each ticket ( that if i found another flight in the 4th or 5th ) = $750 + the air fair differences

2- postponed my Oath ceremony and i heard lot of people gets in a real delay because of this (from almost a year up to 4 years) risky.

by the way IO was reading from Q paper and the Q i had was the first 6 ones in a list and i noticed most of other cases had the same Q .

it should be many other lists as well, so check other peoples Q too ,just trust God & be honest

Updated: I could not sleep last night This morning instead of working, I started to search for my 2 senators and my U.S. Rep. I sent all 3 e-mails to them this morning :yes: That's how serious I am.

And this afternoon I don't have a feeling of working at all. Instead of sitting in my office, I took a 2 hours lunch time and go do nothing around the cafeteria :blink:

My inner-self said go do something more. I started to call USCIS after 1 day of my interview. The Tier 1 guy said, just wait Sir. It's only 1 day. I insisted that my VJ adviser told me to talk to Tier 2. To my surprise, the lady on Tier 2 said it was approved yesterday. I think my IO approved after her lunch time. Thanks to the food she ate :lol: F#ck Yea.....
