Paper work meaning yellow paper or IL?

Maybe they lost the pictures that you sent initially

No no, you can only get your passport once you take your Oath, so if your Oath is on the 3rd then on the 4th you could get your passport, but as its July 4th Independence Day I am doubting the passport offices will be open. Really sorry for any confusion caused. :blush:

I dont get it !!! You mean I can still get a USpassport only for passing the interview without the oath yes.gifohmy.gif I wish this is true ,,, please confirm with me yes or no

Yes Crabcakeface, take two passport photos, they may or may not need them, but take them anyway. Good Luck :thumbs:

I'm waiting for my interview appointment. I received an e-mail saying that it was sent it out today, june 13, Can somebody be so kind an put me one the list. I live in Orlando Florida.

This is my timeline:

03-19-2012 Application sent

03-22-2012 Application Received at Dallas Tx.

03-22-2012 Priority Date.

03-27-2012 check cashed

03-30-2012 NOA I-797 Received

05-04-2012 E-Mail Notice For Biometrics (Biometrics sent).

05-07-2012 Biometric Letter Received.

06-04-2012 E-Mail notice: in line for interview

Sorry to hear that Dude...

Did you ask the IO why the decision cound't be made at this time? Were there any red flags or outstanding issue that needed to be clarified? You might want to call USCIS and request further clarification. Let's hope for the best!

I went in the morning and waited about 1 hour. IO asked all those Yes/No questions. Passed civic questions, writing, reading with flying color. I/O congrats me for passing the test. Asked me to wait outside for decision. I thought in my mind I am 100% approval, I just want to see the oath letter from the IO.

She handed me a letter check box " decision cannot be made at this time " I feel hopeless the moment I saw it :crying:

Now read about this check box on VJ, this is a time sucker. It is really a killing for me as I am going to use the certificate for my wife case F2-A. Yeah, I am really pissed :angry: :angry: :angry:

Do you think I should start to contact my Senator, U.S. Rep, and calling USCIS now ?

What do u guys recommend me to do ? Is it easy and secure to postponed my ceremony or is it better to postponed my trip ?( to much money )

Do u know if I can have my ceremony somewhere else ? Where exactly to get what other dates available ? Or now to postponed it till I am back

Is your oath in the morning ..Can you travel to one of these location immeidately after ceremony http://travel.state....encies_913.html

If yes, than you can have the oath and go to passport service agency and get the passport same day. You may need prior appointment so take the appointment for July 3rd today itself, based on oath time and travel time.

If not, than I would say postpone the oath and enjoy the oath after coming back.

added myself, i had my interview today and was given a N-652 form and the results said: A) Congratulations your application has been recommended for approval, not sure if this means that it has been finally approved, the I/O said that i should receive the oath ceremony letter in the next 2 weeks.

To all you guys,

Do you think I should start to contact my Senator, U.S. Rep, and calling USCIS now ?

What will you say to Senators and US reps? They can't interfer in the process, they can help you get the status. Like other said on this post, Check with USCIS why they couldn't make a decision. What was the area IO spent time questioning? I personally think Senators/US rep can't help much in this situation. They will say wait for USCIS to make decision, they have not rejected your application.
